We are having our traditional Thanksgiving dinner at 5 tomorrow. Our two kids and their spouses and the two grandkids. No extra guests this year.

The turkey goes in the brine at 7 and out around 8 and into the oven about 1. The pumpkin and sour cream apple pies are done as is the cranberry sauce.

I wish we could have y'all over tomorrow but you will be here in Spirit...

We're having a Thaksgiving "lite" this year. Kids are going to their inlaws so we will split a 14# turkey.

Have plenty, if ya'll are this way, you are welcome.

Thank you, that is the kindest thought tubebender!! We are a small family here and I'm so very thankful to be able to call everyone friends.

BTW I love sour cream apple pie.

I just had a pumpkin cheesecake tart with cinnamon whipped cream and a few raspberries for garnish. I couldn't wait until tomorrow. :)

Same here, wife's gone insane this year

got the 2 kids 6 grandkids and a couple strays

I think the birds about 26 lb'er half a Honey baked ham

the wifes normally dormant suzy homemaker genetic marker activated yesterday and she has terminally infected the grandaughter and the two of them have sofar baked, punkin, apple and cherry pies, they made both nutted and non versions of fudge and devinity.

Tommorrow the rest will explode including the yams, taters, home baked bread and mini corn bread muffins

I will be hiding quietly out of the path of travel darting into the kitchen briefly at strategicly timed intervals for liquid envibement or to do duties as delegated by the boss.

We will include y'all in our thoughts and prayers of thanks of the day...

I got invited over to mom's and ended up cooking about everything but the taters. Then I washed all the dishes. LOL. It was good to be with family. My back hurts. Don't know how the womenfolk do that every day.
