Question for chat: This(Alito) is another of many recent examples where Drudge is waaay behind on current and important news. I'm about to take him off my Bookmarks. Any one else noticing this?

No siren yet?
I gave up on him long ago when the popups started.

I didn't even know he still had a site.

Drudge is based in South Florida and like most of us down here he probably has power problems since Hurricaine Wilma.

The first big miss I noticed was Saddam's capture.

Drudge is a messy site with too much spyware and popups for my taste. He is over.

Agnitum Outpost Pro firewall is the only way I maintain my sanity on the net. Blocks ads, ad strings (like tribalfusion.com), active content and good old popups.
Matt's like everyone else - he's had a taste of some cash and won't give it up.

I still go there for the links he has - EarthQuake updates, links to various media sites. But for breaking news, Freepers rule

The only reason I see Drudge at all, is because he gets posted here.

Yup! Stopped in for a peek weeks ago and don't plan on going back although it was my #1 news source.

Drudge still cares too much about "movie stars and swimming pools".

I think the left has learned to use Drudge.
FR is far better, also since he pulled FR from his list there was no reason to really have it as a start point.
To: Leapfrog
I hardly ever go to him anymore. Never even think of him. Those pop-ups are incredible. A few times the blankety-blank things took over my laptop!
Needless to say my daily several trips over there stopped right after that.

I haven't been there in 4 years. His stuff gets posted here at FR anyways.

I used to count on his site for the latest news but lately I think Yahoo!News is even ahead of him.
