Good. Expose them as fools in public. It helps.

Me too. Was behind a guy 3 weeks ago ranting about Bush and gas prices. Just dropped down into command voice and said "Free Market Capitalism a real bitch huh. Too bad they have yet to invent any other economic system that works so well." Amazing how cowardly the ranters are when actually challenged to defend their nonsense.

I agree totally! No more Alphabet channels, Movies, ESPN, etc. If we can't fight a war with muskets then I guess the only option is economic but I Still have my knickers pressed and ready for action.

Yes, people are becoming downright rude. It seems that civil society is disappearing and I'm pretty fed up with it. Everyone seems to feel they have a right to jam their agenda down your throat.
There used to be rules that everyone observed. Never talk about sex, religion or politics in public.

Hun!
I'm so proud of you!
Honestly, I think one of the reasons they believe everyone thinks like them is because no one takes a chunk out of their hide like you did.
We all need to do it.

I was in a staff training last month and the instructor started the Bush Hate talk. I let her go about a minute and then said, not everyone here agrees with you, I happen to think that the President is doing a find job and I dont appreciate the hate.
Shocked face.
She was caught.
Embarrassed.
Profuse apologies.
Jerk!

Oh, I have a GREAT one. I am a white english teacher at a 95% black high school.
My black high school students were talking about the N.O. debacle, and I mentioned that perhaps the mayor was to blame for all of the problems, because he didn't use any of the buses. We talked about it, and someone got it out of me that I voted for Bush. One student said point blank, "You know, you're racist!"
I said to him, "You know why you are in school right? So you learn not to make a fool out of yourself when you go out into the world. Now you have just told a man who married outside of his race and has a mixed-race child, and who voted for a President who chose the first black secretary of state and first black, female secretary of state that he is a racist? Maybe you should study a little harder."
I was livid.

The casher, has has carried this kind of attitude most of her life. That is the chief reason she carries a menial job, running someone else's cash register.

Way to Go!! :)
I was in the supermarket and some man was going on to a couple of people how, Bush lied. I went to go the other way. Then he said, Michael Moore was right. The other two people were leaving. I turned, he looked right at me and I gave him the most disgusted look. It must have been bad because he looked scared and hurried away. LOL I'm shy sometimes so I had to chuckle to myself that my look scared him off. LOL!

WTG!
I'm sick of the disrespect and vitriolic hatred towards President Bush and I also heard a coworker a couple of weeks ago stating that "Bush ought to be shot"
when I called her on it, she accused me of viokating her freedom of speech.
I did report her to the FBI, should've gone to the Secret Service.

Know what that's like. I was with my son who heard some bush bashing in the store. He has a very loud voice and louder when he's excited. someone was complaining and blaming President Bush for NO, making racist remarks. He turned and said, they must be democrats, if the Democrats would quit trying to keep them dumb, depressed and dependant on them, maybe these people could learn to think for themselves. I get so tired of our GOP representatives not getting behind our president and stop some of this bashing.

Unfortunately, what we're seeing in general is the twilight of authority.
