Mike Myers asked people to donate...then Kanye West went on a tirade about Iraq, Mike Myers said something else, and then Kanye says "GEORGE BUSH DOESN'T CARE ABOUT BLACK PEOPLE!"

These are the beginning days of a catastrophic, and chaotic event. The MSM is focusing on the negative, as usual. Good things are being done by good people, and they will continue to be done for a long time to come. Good deeds done by sincere and caring persons are rewarded by good will from sincere and thankful hearts. Friendships will be born, and eyes will be opened if each of us does what is right and lets the providence of God do the rest. The good people in this country still out number the bad, and we must not allow ourselves to be deterred from doing what is right and setting examples for the young minds being shaped by the things they are seeing and feeling during this time. Hate filled persons like West can spew their venom, but actions speak louder than words and will prove him, and others like him, to be misguided or a liar in the eyes of those recipients of good deeds. West is one person, one voice, so am I, so are you, and so are each of us. What each of us says and does determines the outcome. I'm praying that this tragedy brings us closer together as a nation, and closer to God.
Liberals don't live in this country. They "reside" here. They are "citizens of humanity" which is code word for throw money at every problem so I don't have to feel guilty about not giving two sh?ts. These people have no time to "help", they just want to talk aout problems and give other people money to do the heavy lifting.
Talk is cheap and liberals are a quarter at the dollar store - worthless!!!

Yah, well, IMO, the loud-mouth mayor that has been bad-mouthing Bush needs to be held accountable. And Sharpton needs to shut his racist mouth. But you didn't hear it from me. ;o]

I tried calling my local nbc affiliate and could not get through. For the first time in a long time I watched the local news. In the middle of the broadcast they announced that some "controversial comments" had been made and NBC didn't have an official response. That was at 11:15pm. Local NBC was too weak to even acknowledge what was said.
Sounds like plenty of people are calling the locals.
The hate of the left is glaring and revealing in a crisis like this.

Wow, what a great show.... I mean as a racist that just spent 7 hours driving to Morgan City and delivering a truck of supplies and humping it back here for more... the wife wanted to watch the "concert". We both love Harry Connick Jr. and Aaron Neville. .... I'm glad that we all now know our president hates "black people".
I don't and my wife and 4 kids don't...but hey since we're Mexican and White then I guess we'll just assume that the show is like the city of New Orleans... Bunch of really nice folk with 1 angry, looting, welfare chomping, excuse making, whiny half-wit in the crowd that makes all the others look like thugs.
I did expect that the mandatory "Bush Bash" and knew it wasn't going to be left out, but I thought it would be more ...... subtle.
I win however. After that little rant by Mr. West, my wife finally let up and you guys are on the channel blocker... neat.

I just say this on CA time on msnbc or it might have been cnbc they cut out the part of g.w.bush doesn't like blacks but i think it was to late Red Cross and NBC issue a press realease alot of people called 1-800-help-now i know i did

No. I heard it on Foxnews. I saw part of a transcript here on FR from Larry King. He had the head guy from the Red Cross on and he stated the same thing again.
While I totally disagree with his political statements, he did say at least one thing that was good:
He said he realized today that he had gone shopping before he had donated anything... while people are in need of food and water... So he called his business manager and asked him how much money he could donate, and he called on everyone else to do the same. (But then he went off on the crazy, misinformed political/racist stuff, so he lost points.)
Yea I meant Steve Martin. I taught my niece to speak like that. Her mother gave me dirty looks.
That guy is so incoherent that it's funny! I've watched it 3 times and I laugh at the end every time, the look on Mike Myers' face is PRICELESS!
