Report: Owens leaves Eagles camp

There are reports this afternoon that wide receiver Terrell Owens exchanged words with Head Coach Andy Reid at a team meeting and was asked to leave.

Owens then got his belongings and cleared out of Eagles training camp at Lehigh University, according to one television report.

The Inquirer will update and confirm this information as soon as possible.

Tommy Dashele may be deeply saddened but as a Cowboys fan I am trying my best to suppress a huge smile.

Under Mooch, the 49ers were 57-39 (59% winning percentage). Since he left the 49ers are 9-23.

York is one of the worst owners in all the NFL.

Is that suppose to be funny?

No, it is a shot at the 'parity' that exists in the NFC. I really don't think there will be one legitimately good team in the NFC. One of the mediocre teams may rise up above the other mediocre teams, but I don't see a really good team in the NFC.

Yes, but the great thing about a fantasy team is that you have no locker room or clubhouse, and don't have to deal with the personalities!,p> Yeah, but when your fantasy player runs off his mouth and the coach puts him in the doghouse and the quarterback stops looking his way, it effects the fantasy value.

Hey liberals, you want to see REAL greedy millionairs? Look no further than spoiled professional ball players like this one.

Funny how sports figures don't fit into the liberal definition of greedy millionaires.

"York is one of the worst owners in all the NFL."

He has to compete with the Redskins owner, Daniel Schneider, for that coveted award.

It sounds like Reid threw him out of camp, not off the team. TO was a real jerk criticizing the quarterback's performance in the Super Bowl, having zip to do with TO's contract demands, considering the quarterback wasn't asking for a new contract.

I view the TO renegotiation effort as one of the greatest scams in sports history. yes he's a great player and showed guts coming off injury and playing well in the Super Bowl.

BUT the Eagles WON in the playoffs and got to the Super Bowl WITHOUT TO. They then LOST the Super Bowl WITH TO. I'm not saying they would have done better without him, but he would have a much stronger argument if he had taken an additional pass or two into the end zone and won the big game. He didn't.

At some point, players have to held accountable for their actions, just like any other profession.

Like Major League Baseball?

12-4, 13-3....they have been the only good thing in the NFC lately, but turmoil is going start hurting them

Don't give credit to York as an actual owner. He is MARRIED to an owner. He only qualifies as a stupid guy who knows nothing about the game of football. She only qualifies because her brother was kicked out of football, but at least he had the brains to build a winning team.
