I would like to welcome our newest gamers this week; Crazieman, plewis1250, and Sofa King! Crazieman is into WoW, Counterstrike, BF1942, BF2, and Shattered Galaxy. Plewis1250 is into BF2, WoW, Halo2, and Forza. A special welcome goes out to Sofa King (Halo 2) who also runs a popular gaming news ping list. He keeps tabs on all the gaming related articles out there, and will gladly add you to his ping list if you are interested. His involvement in Freeping Gamers could substantially increase our numbers!

His list keeps track of freepers and what online games they're currently playing. If you regularly play online, then this is a good chance to check out what other freepers may be playing with you.

For anyone who plays or is interested in Operation Flashpoint, a few friends and I have made this:

It is an accurate respresenation of not only the AH-64D but all variants of the AH-64 family. It is complete with real working MFDs (Multi-Function Displays), real working guages, flares and chaff that divert missiles, LOBL and LOAL mode for the Hellfire missiles, dynamic arming (you can choose any loadout) and lots more.

Get the RAR or ZIP versions here. A complete manual is also available.

My brother and I started are own guild together called 'Followers of Gird' [FOG] since we are fans of the Elizebeth Moon book and series Legacy of Gird.

About the only game I play online regularly is Call of Duty.

I dabble in Combat Mission, Gary Grigsby's World at War, Vietcong, The IL-2 series, Silent Hunter III, Bull Run, Sid Meier's Pirates!, Mount&Blade, the Madden Football series, Tiger Woods Golf, Dungeon Siege, Rome:Total War, etc.
I'm currently trying to find a copy of Freespace 2 for my five year old, he is a space junkie (he loves Lego Star Wars).

My gaming roots go back to the Avalon Hill/SPI paper games of yore.

Some of the later AH titles were better than the stuff they put out in SPI's heyday. I bought the Decision Games edition of the Civil War battles, good stuff.

gotchya... have you been able to use voice yet?
Most of the time I've seen, people don't use it,
but it really makes the game loads more fun if your
full squad is able to voice com.
Let me know what your favorite bf2 server is,
and i'll add that to your listing.

btw... all bf2-ers... instead of me doing a bf2 server list, lets just all have our favorite listed with our name.
Just keep notes of where you play, and let me know which one works best for you.
