Statement from Senator John Kerry On Terrorist Bombings in London
Cold blooded killers will not for a moment stop the critical work of the G-8 nations in our commitment to end poverty around the globe
Boston, MA - The following statement was issued today by Senator John Kerry in response to the terrorist bombings in London: Every American heart feels for the British people and the families of those killed and injured in today's horrific terrorist bombings in London. As a country which has also experienced tragedy at the hands of cowardly killers and which keeps faith with the special alliance Prime Minister Tony Blair reaffirmed on September 11th, our thoughts and prayers are with you.
In addition to words of condolence and condemnation, America should offer every assistance to Great Britain in dealing with the aftermath of this tragedy and in hunting down and destroying those responsible. We must reaffirm that cold blooded killers will not for a moment stop the critical work of the G-8 nations in showing the world the strength of our shared values and our commitment to ending poverty around the globe. The terrorists should hear from all of us today: the future belongs not to fear, but to freedom. We must also be vigilant here at home to take every step needed to complete the unfinished work of homeland security, strengthening our port security, rail security, protecting chemical plants, and securing loose nuclear materials abroad. While these attacks remind us that the fight is far from over, they also strengthen our resolve to stand together for the right of free people to live in a peaceful world.

If I didn't know better...I'd swear this guy wants to be President. Nothing from Fat Boy Kennedy yet. At least Lurch had the respect to say something.

There's no mention of him being in Vietnam, that leads me to believe that sKerry's staff released it without consulting him.

Kennedy needs to get some some shots of Chivas in him first.

He is saying that his imaginary world leader friends (King Friday of Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood was rumored to be one) will not be stopped from taxing our gas to the moon in the name of environmental protection.
Or something like that. :-)

America should offer every assistance to Great Britain in dealing with the aftermath of this tragedy and in hunting down and destroying those responsible. After he and his party called the British, lapdogs,in the last election cycle.
Than he goes on about hunting down and destroying things. You would think he was in a war or something personally.
Maybe he means what he learned hunting the dead geese last fall.
Idiot.

Was Kerry in Vietnam? He should have mentioned that during the election. I always thought he served in the French army.
To: Proud2BeRight
He never did really make it clear which side he was on in Vietnam, maybe that's what did him in.

Kerry served like the French, not with the French. He served the enemies of America...okay, I apologize to the French. They always surrender to the enemy, only rarely becoming their own compatriots' enemies (except WWII).
Kerry served in Vietnam FOR North Vietnam, our enemy and the mortal enemy of the Vietnamese people. He also served in Cambodia FOR the enemy of the Cambodian and American peoples, Pol Pot and his Khmer Rouge, on behalf of the North Vietnamese. Because of Kerry's treason, millions died in Southeast Asia.
Kerry predictably now sides with the terrorists, tyrants, totalitarians, theocrats, and dictators--the enemies of the American AND Arab peoples. Yet he draws an AMERICAN government paycheck and came darned close to becoming the American president as a traitor-in-chief. Thank God and a slim majority of American voters that it didn't happen. (Voting for Kerry is a mortal sin.)

I said, during the election cycle, based on some of his rambling speeches, that Kerry can say less in more words than any one. Hardly any of his speeches make much sense or have much meaning when they are analyzed. They tend to be sets of meaningless ramblings.
