We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
I'm heading out to see the movie War of the Worlds....see you all later.
With Northeast Biofuels planning to convert corn into ethanol and NextGen Fuel planning to convert waste grease into biofuel, the former Miller Brewing plant complexnow known as the Riverside Business Parkcould become a one-of-a-kind renewable-energy facility, especially because the two companies plan to work closely with institutions of higher education to develop other alternative-energy techniques. facility

In addition, the business park will also house Perdue Farms northeast headquarters for grains origination and animal-feed distribution division, as well as BOC Gases $14 million carbon-dioxide liquefaction plant.
This is huge for our local area!
My goodness. My community would be thrilled to have ONE of those projects. Am I to understand you are getting THREE new businesses, all at once, in the same business park? That's really amazing.
That's going to be a big boost to your area, lysie. Huge.
Just got this in e-mail and thought it was pretty funny:
COWS:
Is it just me, or does anyone else find it amazing that our government can track a cow born in Canada almost three years ago, right to the stall where she sleeps in the state of Washington And they tracked her calves to their stalls. But they are unable to locate 11 million illegal aliens wandering around our country. Maybe we should give them all a cow.
CONSTITUTION:
They keep talking about drafting a Constitution for Iraq. Why don't we just give them ours? It was written by a lot of really smart guys, it's worked for over 200 years and we're not using it anymore.
TEN COMMANDMENTS:
The real reason that we can't have the Ten Commandments in a Courthouse? You cannot post "Thou Shalt Not Steal," "Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery" and "Thou Shall Not Lie" in a building full of lawyers, judges and politicians! It creates a hostile work environment!
And Last but not least.....
George Carlin said it best about Martha Stewart .., Boy, I feel a lot safer now that she's behind bars. O.J. Simpson, Michael Jackson and Kobe Bryant are still walking around; Osama Bin Laden too, but they take the one woman in America willing to cook, clean, and work in the yard, and haul her off to jail."
You have every right to be. Whoever is doing your business recruiting deserves a pat on the back.
Thank you , Peach.
BBL..off to Tractor Supply. Sarah will probably spend her paycheck there.
Not long after I posted earlier, I left for errands & Bible study, but I listened in the car, and thought: I must write about this!! You read my mind:-))
Okay, first the retired LTC who visited Gitmo recently ahead of some Congresspeople...
He said the guards there are the ones who are tortured if any one is!! For one thing, they must keep their names on their uniforms hidden, because these despicable prisoners have threatened the guards' families....also the guards have all sorts of disgusting things tossed at them...
The LTC was amazed to learn of the food the prisoners get...he thought the menu he read was for one whole day, but NO! it was for ONE meal, and the offerings were excellent, and probably better than what the guards get! JIMINEY!!
Now for the other thing...what was that??
OH! Graham & x 42...Yes, Malzberg interviewed the minister who got up and walked out of that Queens event.
The minister said that the elder Graham is usually more protected nowadays by his son Franklin, so he wasn't sure what went wrong, but he placed the blame mostly on the x42s...& their slimy conniving & scheming.
The minister said that x42 sounded like he was praising Graham, but actually he was his usual self-regarding self....x42 was the object of his own praise & complimints. Typical, right???!!!
End of report.:-))
Keeping an eye on TWC...
oh dear. Prayers lifted for our guys.
Why do so many of these 'cats' have black fir with a white stripe running all the way down their back?????
Just saying hi all.
I'm not dead or anything like that. Just off FR for a bit. Following news, USSC developments, Prez, etc.
Working on establishing online bill banking stuff nowadays. I'll be happy when I've settled on arrangements. Narrowed down to two: USAA and local bank First Niagara. I now realize that I'm going to have to go online with my present bank HSBC most likely to get everything transferred synchronously, too. I'm beginning to believe I could actually end up saving quite a bit of moola per year by the time I'm done with this process.
The heat here in Central NY has been very unusual - quite a shock after not being over 90F for almost two years.
I'll be on FR later today.
Prayers that your "vicious" storms don't result in floods, hail, or tornadoes, and that you and yours stay safe.
Nice job, Molly! Thanks!
It's GREAT to see you posting again! I had hoped you were okay when you didn't check in for a few days.
Glad to hear everything's ok. Check back in when you can!
I downloaded several versions of Linux over the Lab's T3 line. Most people don't have the ability to download a whole 4.3Gb DVD in only 25min or so, though, so it seems that the most sensible way to get Linux nowadays for most people would be to purchase one of the many packages available, and set up a dual-boot machine with it.
I did a google search on:
linux distributions pack (or packages)
And came up with many possibilities. Two of them were:
http://spidertools.com/10pack.php (12 versions/ $30)
http://www.linuxcd.org (several options)
I really recommend Knoppix for people to try - it runs from CD and doesn't ever touch your hard drive - and you can see if Linux might fit into your future. If you want to run store-bought games only, don't bother, but if office and internet are your main uses for your 'puter (and you like simple games) I highly recommend linux. Soon, I believe, all store bought products will come with Linux options, though.
I have had ZERO problems with virus or spyware in the eight months or so I've been running with a simple largely unconfigured hardware firewall and DSL. Usually I'm on Fedora linux, but Knoppix, SUSe and Mandrake have been fine, too. Debian will be tried sometime in the future.\
No security fears at all for my online banking and bill paying activities.
That won't stop her from claiming credit for the new businesses. Just watch.
