These are hilarious!
I did my part. I signed. The replies are the funniest thing I have seen. The sad part is you are not sure if that is really those posters or not.
I did my part to further the career of mopaul! I hate to see someone out of a job!
"The sad part is you are not sure if that is really those posters or not."
I know. Anybody been over to DU to see if they are talking about this?
I doubt they are allowed to comment on this.
So, Beth is still saying Andy is very, very ill. Do we know if Andy's cancer has spread to the lymph nodes or not? I heard it said once but never again? I'm so confused.
"I doubt they are allowed to comment on this."
I forgot. LOCK! BAN! DELETE!
note to FOA - get your scripts on the same page.
Maybe we could do another online petition to get them all on the same page too? They have great faith in the power of online petitions and the best way to get through to a superstitious tribe mentality is via their symbols.
I don't understand...why is this illegal? His associate was the one who misreported it, not your friend. Wasn't it laid out in the paperwork?
Totally clueless here about such things.
That's the amazing thing. Almost always when there is a person or family in genuine need, a trust fund or an account is set up at a bank or a hospital specifically for that purpose and for no other. But the DUmmies fancy themselves above normal people. Doing it that way would be too boring or conventional--like people do it in the red states.
That the money went directly into Undie's pockets is disgraceful and was--or should have been--a major red flag. And I don't see how it could be remedied to satisfaction at this point. The money is basically unaccountable.
However, if this comes to the attention of the IRS, all those contributions may have to be accounted for--it is personal income for Undie--or else the Mendacious Mendicant could be spending some time before the bar and/or behind bars.
I'm not sure those posting are who they say they are. I think a bunch of people are just messing around. It is amusing, though.
I'm just laughin my a@@ off at them all....
I have spent some time at several bars.
There was a thread at du...I don't have it anymore, a lawyer for a hospital posted some tips for doing it better next time. Beth's excuse was she didn't have time, had never done one of these before and didn't know what to do, or something to that effect.
I've never done one before either, but I know enough to set up a special account for something like this, if for no other reason than to save the poor sick person the hassle of having to answer a bunch of questions. Now tell me how is it that a progressive, sophisticated city girl like beth can't figure this out and li'l ole me, a redneck country hick can?
Cindie
Usually if a person doesn't know how to set up a fund-raiser, his or her bank as a courtesy is more than happy to set up a special account, and to explain the rules, at least as they apply locally--something done in a matter of ten, fifteen, minutes.
And surely the DUmmiette sfexpat2000 has a bank.
How is it those sophisticated blue-staters can't go three words without inserting a profanity while you and franksolich are among the most articulate people I read on a near daily basis? < / rhetorical question >
Oh my.
If we get even one answer out of all the questions you asked, just one single answer, that's more than what we've gotten so far.
