I suppose you were a big fan of "Delta Dawn" (the Tanya Tucker version, not the Helen Reddy abomination) I hated the song, but Tanya was OK (see my Reba comment above)

Your mention of Helen Reddy means I have to now bring up that dreaded feminist anthem, "I Am Woman." But only because I also want to say the FUNNIEST thing I have ever heard was John Davidson's rendition of the tune, 3rd person no less!

"You are woman, hear you roar ..."

A literal scream!!
