Okay, '70's trivia question for all of you:

What exactly did Billy Joe McAllister and that girl throw off the Tallahatchee Bridge?

Koran?

I always thought he jumped.

Well, he did, but not while the girl was there. She found out about it later, over that supper she didn't touch.

Hot pants? What about crushed velvet pants? Mine were purple, to go with my shear purple blouse.

Nope! The MC5 were doing their thing up until after "High Times" which came out in 1971 on Atlantic. Then in 1972 the MC5 broke up, and in summer of 1973 Fred, Michael and Dennis started the genius but short-lived Ascension project. After that broke up, Fred formed Sonic's Rendezvous Band and by late 1974 they had Scott Asheton, Gary Rassmuson, and Scott Morgan as permanent members.

They broke up in 1980 right after Fred and Patti got married... so it was a total 1970s band!
