He did the first one. Pretty sexy layout, too.
You have my sympathies. "Harper Valley PTA" did the same thing to me. The only thing worse was my dad's fascination with Montavani, Skitch Henderson, etal.
Nooooooooooooo! do tell, please!

I think you get the point ;-)
It was on Carson that Dolly said the reason her feet were so small is because nothing grows in the shade.
Ma was a 20 year old working the counter for Hertz at Newark Airport. When Gordon found out that his car wasn't cleaned yet he GRABBED MY MOTHER and pulled her halfway across the counter. He had to be restrained by airport security.
Just like a Canadian to attack a 5'4" WOMAN.
"I've got a nickel, I've got a nickel, I've got a nickel all shiny and new..."
Missed that one
Clogs were stupid and uncomfortable too.
What exactly did Billy Joe McAllister and that girl throw off the Tallahatchee Bridge?
I was wondering if they were going to pull the post. (So to speak)
Correction, I think that's "My name is Michael, I've a nickel, I've got a nickel all shiny and new."
I always thought he jumped.
Smells like 1968 to me.
I think my Mom had the only non lemon Vega Chevy ever made.
Had something to do with seeing her at Choctaw ridge with another man I believe.
Theme song from the movie "The Legend of Billy Jack" -- check out this plot line:
"Ex-Green Beret karate expert saves wild horses from being slaughtered for dog food and helps protect a desert 'freedom school' for runaway."
BTW, the song was recorded, released as a single, by a group named COVEN. Yikes!
Here's the lyric:
Listen, children, to a story
That was written long ago,
'Bout a kingdom on a mountain
And the valley-folk below.
On the mountain was a treasure
Buried deep beneath the stone,
And the valley-people swore
They'd have it for their very own.
Go ahead and hate your neighbor,
Go ahead and cheat a friend.
Do it in the name of Heaven,
You can justify it in the end.
There won't be any trumpets blowing
Come the judgement day,
On the bloody morning after....
One tin soldier rides away.
So the people of the valley
Sent a message up the hill,
Asking for the buried treasure,
Tons of gold for which they'd kill.
Came an answer from the kingdom,
"With our brothers we will share
All the secrets of our mountain,
All the riches buried there."
Go ahead and hate your neighbor,
Go ahead and cheat a friend.
Do it in the name of Heaven,
You can justify it in the end.
There won't be any trumpets blowing
Come the judgement day,
On the bloody morning after....
One tin soldier rides away.
Now the valley cried with anger,
"Mount your horses! Draw your sword!"
And they killed the mountain-people,
So they won their just reward.
Now they stood beside the treasure,
On the mountain, dark and red.
Turned the stone and looked beneath it...
"Peace on Earth" was all it said.
Go ahead and hate your neighbor,
Go ahead and cheat a friend.
Do it in the name of Heaven,
You can justify it in the end.
There won't be any trumpets blowing
Come the judgement day,
On the bloody morning after....
One tin soldier rides away.
Neither one of those songs begged for a remake, but I'm strangely attacted to Reba, so I'll give her a pass.
I suppose you were a big fan of "Delta Dawn" (the Tanya Tucker version, not the Helen Reddy abomination) I hated the song, but Tanya was OK (see my Reba comment above).
Holy COW!!!
Not very nice... was he.
Although - I've spent some quality time at the Hertz Counter @ Newark Airport myself and can feel the emotion - but I wouldn't take it out on your mom! Promise!!!
I always got the impression that ol' Gord was kinda high-strung.
