New verse:

I know it, but God help me, I love it! LOL
I don't eat it very often...I got in cycles with it. I'll eat it a few times then blow it off for a year or two.
Ok. But *love* and *tofu* don't belong in the same sentence! ;)
Tofu is t3h 3v1l. Save the soybeans, eat a cow.
Heh!! I can't wait for you to meet Matthew...I think you're gonna like him.
Liver pudding is a delicacy! It's like comparing a really fine steak to 70/30 hamburger.
Mmmm Liver pudding!
Went shopping after work...restocked my dried beef supply.
*Shrug* I just let it work til it won't work any more. Seems stronger than store-bought to me (and confirmed by Sister.)
See if you can find it in those little bottles (6 or 8 ounces each IIRC) that they sell in 4 packs.
Oh! I got some of that dried beef!
How do I make that dish?
Eight ounces would be perfect. Drink half one day, the other half the next.
I'll check in to it.
Sheesh...I was just reading about that cop that had a homosexual affair with a college guy and when the college guy threatened to out him, the cop slit his throat so bad that apparently he nearly decapitated the guy.
So during court, the cop's wife and family are all there steadfastly supporting him, denying he killed the guy but not denying he had an affair with him.
Sheesh...I'm amazed they're still supporting him! I got banished forever from my family for pointing out one of the poodles was eating my chicken off my tray!
Since I was out in the wild midwest last New Years's I got one of those four-packs of champagne.
If you don't like your food extra salty, soak the beef in hot water from the tap for a few minutes (that's what I do.) Melt about a tablespoon of butter in a 2 quart sauce pan and add the beef(squeeze the water out first) Fry the beef until the edges curl up. Take the pan off the burner and sprinkle in 1 to 2 tablespoons of flour. Stir until all the flour is absorbed by the butter. Stir in about 1 1/2 cups of milk (more if you have to stretch it, less if you don't want a lot of sauce) and put back on the burner. Cook on medium heat until the sauce has thickened. Serve over rice or toast.
Do I chop up the beef, then add it back into the sauce?
Evenin' folkses.... [sip]
You can if you want to, but the original size is okay for me!
Oh, ok! I thought that was why it was called chipped beef on toast...cause you chipped it up!
Hi Ramius!
I usually cut it in strips with scissors after I've washed it.
And serve the stuff over toast or (even better) fresh biscuits. Mmmm!
Evening. I need to find something to sip!
