A man cooking in his kitchen was shot after one of his cats knocked his 9mm handgun onto the floor, discharging the weapon, Michigan State Police said. Joseph Stanton, 29, of Bates Township in Iron County, was shot in his lower torso around 6 p.m. Tuesday, the state police post in Iron River reported. He was transported to Iron County Community Hospital. Michelle Sand, a spokeswoman at the Iron River hospital, said Stanton was treated there before being transferred to Marquette General Hospital for further treatment. But Marcie Miller, a representative of the Marquette facility, said there was no record of the hospital receiving a patient by that name. A telephone message seeking comment was left Wednesday at Stanton's home. State police said he was cooking at his stove when the cat knocked the loaded gun off the kitchen counter behind him.

This thread is screaming for a visit from the Viking Kitties and requires a picture of the kitty aiming the assault rifle. This is also another reason why dogs are better to have around the house than cats. You never hear of a dog shooting its owner. NOT a ZOT, folks. :^D
Please let me know if you want ON or OFF my Viking Kitty/ZOT ping list!. . .don't be shy.

Aside from homicidal kitties, squirrel rangers are a menace to reckon with.
The government will start confiscating the kitties weapon carry permits. The KRA (Kittie Rifle Association) is enraged.

Good looking dog CG. Is that a Stevens (or Savage) model 311 db shotgun he's sporting there? My first shotgun was a Stevens 311 double 20-gauge. I still love that gun.

Wish he was mine. I stole that picture. Here is my dog. Ignore the caption.

I build computers as a hobby. Electronic components are ultra sensative to highly sensitive to electormagnetic static energy.
Cats are full of static.
I have three of them.
Guess who always wants to climb on the parts while I'm building computers?
I have to literally put the kitties in a room until its safe for them to come out.
Curiosity killed the computer.
