Hello... I want to have a little fun with my karaoke thing here. (I apologise to the more serious conservatives in here without my kind of goofy sense of humor for this post, but I need a little help)
Ok, I want to sing a song and put it into mp3 - it's the words to NY, NY, but I need lyrics to make it relate to Dan Rather. Of course the song will start out "No more spreading the news, I'm leaving today"
I can't seem to get too creative on this and was wondering if there were any fellow conservatives out there with a knack for poetry and an appreciation for a little rightwing nonsense. As Willy Wonka once said "A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men". I don't know who said it before that, but I remember it from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory.
Anyway. I got a mike, my Acoustica sound mixing program, and the Karaoke version of Sinatra's New York, New York, and I want to make fun of Rather and I need a hand with the words if anyone's willing :)
I'm glad you didn't say - pajama tailgate party. I wouldn't like sitting in a draft with my Dr. Denton's open in the back.
"Masters of War" is also on that CD, I believe...check THAT one out...MUD
Hopefully a little hungover and a little relieved.
"Couric next?"
You know, it doesn't really matter 'cuz I won't watch CBS News anyway...LOL!!

My bad...I couldda sworn it was the 1st track and "Desolation Row" is Number 9. I've got Dylan's "John Wesley Harding" in my CD player now. Great stuff.
