I think she's going to put them up just after the contest concludes. After she had submitted them, she learned some more about filters, or something, she said, so she fixed them up a bit. The 'new' ones will be the ones she posts. There some sort of Anime Music Video site on which she'll post them, and I'll let you know when she does!
That has been her focus in homeschooling this year. She has taught herself two different programs so far, and is really enjoying it. She's seriesly considering Digital Video Editing or Technology for college study. She's really interested in the compression used for the videos and wants to also study some Math to help out in that regard.
I home. I just got home. It was horrific.
Both my tie end rods were wore out and about the break. (That's what connect to your wheels so you can steer the car.) Cost me $226 to get them fixed, he told me I have 5% of my brakes left and my rack and pinion was going to need replaced (Bear, didn't I already have that done??? Just since we've been posting?? I'm pretty sure I've done that already and told about it.)
Oh, and my power steering is leaking fluid (which is what made me replace the rack and pinion in the whole first place!)
I'm exhausted, mentally and physically. I really wish I could sell this car, but don't see how I can with all these problems...
Neither do Men of Gondor.
I'll keep that unit in my prayers.
I would like to thank you for the knife and the shears. The knife often comes into play for various tasks. Thanks for the gifts. It helps to know Americans back home like yourselves are supporting our military here in Iraq.
We're thinking of you and your son, TexKat...here in the Hole...
Thanks...I'm just so down about the idea that I won't be seeing them fly over! They won't even know how much I miss them! Will they even think of me, listening down here for their return?
They meant so much to me that night on September 11th...when they flew over...I was so grateful for them then and I still am.
I don't mean to be dramatic...but I simply can't imagine what families like TexKat's must be going through, if I grieve so much for these guys leaving that I barely know personally and only really know because they fly over my house...
Get their mailing address over there and ship them some homemade cookies some time :D
Well since you're being dramatic...(teehee)... just keep in mind that their mission is absolutely vital. Think of how happy they make you flying overhead and know that they'll mean that much more to the soldiers on the ground in theater. They support the soldiers on the ground and the soldiers on the ground need all the help they can get.
It does pull to the left a bit...it was worse before they fixed it! He took me out and showed me the tires...the just shook back and forth, both of them. I gotta trust him...I don't know anything.
I will mail them cookies! Would mail them cookies like MAD if I get the address! It's not like the guys in Afghanistan who didn't really know me...these guys know me and actually have met me! (Not to mention seeing me and my kids waving at them down below them!)
I'll figure out something...right now I'm just sitting here bawling over that and TexKat's scare. I'm exhausted and just really upset.
Heh!! I know it...I'm just tired and shook-up and probably oughta get something in my stomach (like a half a bottle of cholesterol medicine).
I've never looked at the sky the same since 9/11...and they're part of the reason why. The sky was just so...empty...until they flew over.
Yeah...that's what he said...I'd have lost all control on my steering.
That's right...about the contrails. All that day, (have I told you the story?) there were no contrails in the sky...then that evening after dark the Black Hawks flew over on their way to the unit we toured. We heard them coming and everyone in the neighborhood came out and watched them...
God bless them, even to this moment I'm so happy they flew over! I mean, we didn't know when or if the terrorist attack would end at that point...and we were all on pins and needles.
2J, please remember that these are professionals, doing what they chose to do. They want to know that you're praying for them, but not crying for them or yourself. Crying just takes up energy that could be used for prayer, or baking cookies, which I think is another form of prayer.
This is not Helm's Deep, where mothers watch their kids put on the wall to help defend them in their last desperate hour. They're part of an avenging force that's riding to battle secure in the knowledge that their homes, and people at home, are safe. Their job is to bring death and destruction on a massive scale to those cowardly orcs who made the mistake of messing with the wrong people. I pray for their good hunting, and safe and quick return. It is a crusade, and all evil things recoil from the image of the Cross.
I know it...I know it...
But every time I think of them not flying over, I just cry. I can't help it! I'm a pantywaist, I guess.
Once I get over crying about it, I'll get to work finding a way to support them. I promise.
Evenin' everyone.
"LOST" is a repeat again, so I'm killing time until American Idol starts. :-D
I'm watching the Darlings.
I'm guessing that's Smallville, right?
