I apologize if King Kat's pose (#21) offended you.
I've owned had several other cats and never saw one sleep like this before.
His "private parts" were the LAST thing on my mind when I took the picture, and never was until you mentioned it!
I just thought it funny!

A little racy? LOL.

The fact that they are natural creatures and flagrant exhibitionists shouldn't be an excuse for us to take pictures that would embarrass a lesser individual if we were caught in such a pose. You're kidding, right? They're cats.
I'm not able to photograph my cats these days; I receive pictures of them from their "temporary foster parents" in Tulsa. But I have never been offended by any of them. Finbar sprawls like that all the time...I love getting pictures of Finbar being Finbar.
Perhaps I should send the pictures to "Tomcat Magazine" or something. ;-)

No, no. I wasn't offended. (like Allegra pointed out, they're cats) I just noticed the number of shots of beautiful felines from this unfortunate angle and wondered aloud why people don't take their pics from a different angle that highlights the features that make our cats look adorable to us.
Rereading my post from yesterday, I can see where y'all might have thought I was offended, though. I guess this was one of those times we all have when what you've typed sounded alright when you hit the post button but then later you went back and realized that without facial expressions and voice inflections, it could be read in a totally different light. I apologize for the confusion.
Allegra - stay safe. (I'll soon be having 2 more at my house for similar reason as yours are in Tulsa)
Radu - I concur 100%. Chelsea does have a very sweet face. Thanks for sharing.

I'm delighted to learn you were not offended!
Like I said in my reply, I had never seen a cat sprawled out on its back that way before. I see from several pictures here that it is not uncommon!
Since I took that picture King Kat will often sleep like that, the little stinker!

(I'll soon be having 2 more at my house for similar reason as yours are in Tulsa) I think I can speak for everyone in my situation when I say we cannot express how much we appreciate people like you who do this for us.
It eases our minds to know that people who love our furry babies almost as much as we do are looking after them while we're away.
I got to visit Dulcie and Finbar in early January when I was back in the States for a month and it was a great reunion. Later this year, we'll reunite for good and my babies will be home with me...where they belong. :-)

CAT HAIKU - all inspired by Harrison the Psycho Cat
Run under your feet
Watch Big One stumble and trip
Please don't land on me
Lick water off feet
From the shower you just came
Have you athlete's foot?
You spent money on
Expensive kitty litter
I poop outside box
Vomit food I must
Could go on vynil flooring
I like carpet more

KITTEN HAIKU
We could go outside
There's more do do inside where
The climate's controlled
We are innocent!
Those drapes were slashed to ribbons
Before we woke up!
There's so much nice stuff
To sink our claws in while we
Learn to stand and climb
Food bowls all scattered
Crunchies on the Kitchen floor
Breakfast is over
Leap up on the chair
Now the table. Window sill
Is just out of reach
Leaping up the stairs
One at a time. Half way up
Stop to take a nap
Purring in a pile
Curled up close and snuggling soft
Adventures can wait
Night time is the best!
So many rooms to explore
While our Humans sleep
