I did get a notification on IE. It played the same sound that I have for the mail notification on Outlook. The standard "ding dong" sound, exactly as Meek described it. I wonder if it is set up to play this one sound file only, and if it can't find it, then you get no sound.

You got me on this one. I didn't do anything on IE except enable popups on the google toolbar. If it helps, the WAV file that the popup is playing is called notify.wav, which is also set as my "mailbeep". I am running win2k. Not to make your pain worse, but the feature is very cool. I was posting on another thread and was notified of your message. I hope you can get it working.

I searched what I thaought were all the People's Choice threads, even one that was a People's Choice THREAT, and couldn't find Dean pics. Either the guy was lying or he was Freeper trolling DU to get them worked up.
