My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Good morning LunaRed.
Treasured were all he memories but the sound of a distant drum of reality kept sounding, and I could not shut it out.
Then I said good buy to you, but in my heart I keep the illusion.
Where the heart aches come in.
Wonderful poem today. It expresses so well the frame work of some relationships.

Sam, I really like the tunes today. Thanks so much.

"In 1918, to promote food conservation during wartime, the U.S. government called for one meatless day, two wheatless days and two porkless days each week."
Isn't it amazing that people would ever want to come to such a place with such voluntary restrictions!

I walked a path in darkest night
The landscape turned to brilliant white
What comes to mind is Bob-O-Link
And the Frost is ever there
Winter comes, but Spring prevails
Indeed a journey into the light

Her Lips Are Copper Wire

whisper of yellow globes
gleaming on lamp-posts that sway
like bootleg licker drinkers in the fog
and let your breath be moist against me
like bright beads on yellow globes
telephone the power-house
that the main wires are insulate
(her words play softly up and down
dewy corridors of billboards)
then with your tongue remove the tape
and press your lips to mine
till they are incandescent

Morning, Sam.

Whoa what a find for today. Such skill in choosing the words that are so critically placed.
I really am enjoying this work. Thanks for all Sam.
