My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Reflections.....O' life is autumn and I turn and look, back a little on my life's' book. I count the triumph's and the loss; In part to rest in part to toss. I cant go back I must go on; doing my best with autumn's song.

For Want of a Camera

Can one possibly hope to capture
the eerie twilight
the surrealistic sunset
that bathes the land in darkest blues
And the sun deepest orange
death throes as it sinks
beneath the horizon
Without my lens of lasting
memory what can I do
But watch in awe as
the moon and one bright companion
waltz among the lacy leafless
branches of October
And wonder if these are but
Roots reaching for the heavens
Drawing true nourishment from
where nourishment truly comes
What can I do but wish and walk on,
left with only a chemical imprint
on the canvas of my mind instead.

I Painted You A Rainbow
I painted you a rainbow your colors are every hue my love for you in primary red your happiness in sunny yellow my sadness in cobalt blue
I painted you a rainbow and cried my tears for you in a kaleidescope of color in a midnight shade of blue
I painted you a rainbow I winked a Aurora's wave and I gave my all to your rainbow and wonder what you gave.

Mr. M.....Passing Clouds..... I was caught up in the illusion of you and I relished it; without hesitation. The night stood in a void while the moon framed the clouds and your smile warmed the night. Holding you was tender and you completed me. Treasured were all he memories but the sound of a distant drum of reality kept sounding, and I could not shut it out. Then I said good buy to you, but in my heart I keep the illusion.
