I know that there are many negative side effects from steroids, but does synthetic HGH also have such consequences?

Isn't HGH the first genetically engineered (by Genetech) commercially produced drug?

They used to synthesize HGH from the brains of cadavers, and therefore, some people who used it actually contracted Creutzfeld Jacobs disease or new variant (like BSE).

Does anybody know more about HGH? I've heard that it is a 'safe' performance enhancer. It also reverses some of the effects of aging (such as grey hair, body fat...etc.)

I've given up on baseball. There's too much scoring due to juiced baseballs and juiced baseball players. The records that have set in the last ten years are a joke and have destroyed the game for me. What is happening to society? It seems like every other pro athlete is either taking drugs or committing other crimes, and it seems like every other woman out there is getting ridiculous beach-ball breast implants or plastic surgery.
