As a Yankee fan, I can't say I'm shocked about this, but I'm disgusted. And the Yankees still owe him $82 million over the last four years. I wish Jason would just retire now.
I wouldn't bet on that. I'm sure George has his lawyers looking that contract over right now. I bet Giambi isn't back, and he doesn't get paid.
Think Aaron Boone... The Yankees were very patient with Giambi all last year. They even carried his useless carcass on the postseason roster, when there was no chance he could produce. All the while, Giambi was lying to them about the nature of his condition and the reasons for it.
The Boss' patience is at an end.
And the Yankees still owe him $82 million over the last four years.Mañana Economics... or... "I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today"
Well for the Yankees, it's Tuesday.

Hey Yankee fans; How bout that ALCS?
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!
If what he did was illegal or otherwise in violation of the rules, then I don't think the Yankees owe him anything.
BTW, isn't it a crime to leak grand jury testimony?
