.....Westy....
*shrug* Better than nothing, I suppose...
To be honest Lynn, I'm not sure of all the details .. the word "aggressive" concerned me also, but I don't know a whole lot about medical terms and things. I'm still piecing some things together from my other sisters .. my brother was pretty upset and still in shock from it all, I know I'll find out more in the coming days.
Thank you for the prayers Lynn .. my SIL's name is Darla
I wish there was .. I had even called Santorums office to request tickets for the inauguration
My problem is the kids and school and with the exception of my FIL and MIL .. who are up there in age and can't handle more then a day alone with the girls ... the nearest family member is my one sister and yet still that is about 20 minute drive at a normal time of day .. it would be even longer during the morning rush hour traffic .. the roads here in the morning get really clogged up with traffic .. and then she would still need to get her own kids off to school also.
Poor Terry ..
I hadn't heard that .. what terribly sad news for the family
Most members in my family are Dems, so I can't use that line .. but I did get a chuckle when my nephew rec'd a donation picture of Kerry and they TOTALLY misspelled my nephews name on it .. hehehe
My sister's SIL has a son that is autistic and he needs to have special care with this education also .. he basically has his own teacher to help him with this work/teaching, though he stays in a classroom with the other kids.
One time there was a problem at school where he pretty much destroyed this classroom and it took several teachers to control him.
He always got along fine with my girls, but he has a difficult time with his cousins when they were younger. I guess it's because my girls never got into arguments with him about playing with toys .. whereas, his cousins, who all boys would get competitive over the toys or games and well, weren't real good in the sharing department either
There are also placement restrictions because both of these children are alleged to have sexual acting out behaviors, so they have to have constant supervision and cannot be left alone together or with younger children. I want to get them in therapeutic foster care, but that can take weeks, even months, to find a placement.
That is such a sad case ... no child show ever have to experience what those children have gone through
Har Har Har .. no extinguisher was needed .. this time
After we baked the cookies, we watched Frosty the Snowman and well ... we all fell asleep on the couches.
I woke up around 2 and had to get them all into bed .. luckily they were still half asleep and fell back to sleep when they hit their pillows
Yuck! It is pouring rain here.....AGAIN! I am SO tired of it. It has been almost every day for weeks. It's getting really depressing, I don't even want to put much effort into looking decent because I know I am am going to look awful before long into the day anyway having to run in and out of the rain all day.
Awwww...poor Nully!
*Smooch*
Yeah, it really is. I know I am supposed to be helping the parents as well as the children, to put the family back together, but that is harder than I can tell you when every time you look at them all you can think of is "these people belong in jail." A lot of times in these abuse cases, it is one parent or the other, or more often, a live in, and the situation can be addressed by removing the offender, but in this case, not only is there a dumb*ss mother who is covering her husband's worthless *ss, but it is becoming more evident every day that she has been abusing the children too.
This where those who make the rules need to open their eyes and realize that in some cases .. while trying to keep a family together they end up hurting the children even more.
There are parents that really do love their kids but just need a little help
Then there are others who should just be thrown in jail and not allowed near their kids.
Sounds like these parent fall in the jail category
Thanks for the explaination I have a few cats that had had that and they did die of cancer, but else where like the stomach.
I got the impression this lump appeared later but was the loaction where the shot was given.
It is painful when cancer afflicts your love one be it human or animal!
May we continue our prayers for family and friends
Back when, we had some friends over for grilled hamburgers one evening, only to discover that our German Shepherd had devoured the second round of patties which were left warming on the open grill...BAAAAD poochie.
If you managed to navigate through the 4 parts to the article, it is the best explanation of the situation I have yet seen. My Bro-in-law lost about a quarter million for his house and lots, he paid it out-of-pocket.
I am told the reforms since do more to preclude such from ever happening again. At the very lest, much of the PRI corruption (which is where the article places blame) has been cleared up since Mexico wants US money. however, I don't know and can't vouch for individual circumstances.
I suppose you would need an honest Mexican lawyer. Something where the banks can't simply cancel the "fideicomisos" would be nice.
Welcome.
I had a cat who developed cancer on her shoulder.
She was a beautiful longhaired tuxedo cat named "Princess Caroline Matilda".
She was a bit of a ditz the way cats go, though.
We had to have her put to sleep.
The cancer started to spread, and even though she seemingly felt no pain, it wasn't something we wanted to put her through.
BC, Saskatchewan, Alberta and Manitoba should all seceed from Canada and become our 51st, 52nd, 53rd and 54th states! :o)
