"who's ankle is this now?"

Probably just a troll. Trolls don't count.

I am surprised that no one responded to this.....I guess I am the only one who has had cats with that lump of fatty tissue on the back!

I once ask the vet about it and was told it was nothing now I hear on the news they must have known this knowledge for a long time!

It's just that they are so common and harmless.
I have a dog with one on her chest, and I had one for a couple of years on an eyelid, where they seem to be common on people.
Sometimes they stay, sometimes the go, but almost always they are harmless.

I don't like the sound of the word "aggressive" but ask your brother if the Dr. mentioned whether or not it was "encapsulated"? Or have they said that "they believe they were able to remove all of it"?? Will place her on our prayer chain Mo. What is her first name?

The missus cat got something like that, but it wasn't after any vaccinations as the vet thought it might've been.
Seems "Tristan Cameron the Black" lept and landed funny.
He got what amounted to a massive bruise, which did this funny puff up and after it healed it did the fatty lump like thing.
Freaked us out.
It did go away.

But a fatty lump on the spine IS a cause for concern as it may pinch nerves.
Especially if it is close to where vaccinations are given.
(Sometimes is a skin reaction to vaccinations or so I'm told.)

I don't recall what can be done about it though.

I ended up having to go back to the office tonight to get some information I THOUGHT I had with me. It was worth it though, because it saved me having to get up at 4 am to drive to Harrison before work in the morning to pick up kids. I am convinced that one of life's most useful skills is the ability to delegate. I am tired enough without losing extra sleep!

Yikes.
I've forgotten things like that.
I usually didn't have the option of going back to pick them up though.
:(

Sleep well!

With the hours we keep, we all have access to the building at any time. Some things can't wait, and then, of course, if we have an emergency arise in off hours, we have to be able to handle it. Plus, we never get our work done in 40 hours. It is impossible.

Oh well we won't be looking at doing that for a few years yet. And yes, we will do our research.
