What is wrong with Michael Savage?
11-10-2004 | Rca2000

Does anyone here listen to Savege nation? I do, most of the time. Michael Is entertaining, and he DOES tell it like it is. BUT, it seems like nothing Bush does is EVER good enough for him. I never hear Michael complimenting W on much of anything.

Is this just my imagination?

Just read this forum, you'll see the same type of crap. Mostly it comes from the conservative "purists" who go ballistic whenever Bush does anything they feel isn't conservative enough. (Of course to them that is all the time.)

I've tried a couple times to listen to Savage. The cuckoo's nest must have fallen on him long ago. Listening to him requires too much stamina. Life is too short.

Savage rants about language, borders, and culture. I agree with him on this. He has a caustic style. So what. Most of the complaints I read hear don't address his fundamental rant. They sound more like stooges clinging to Bush. Bush's is now leaning toward providing legal status for illegal immigrants, promoting the use of drugs to sedate school age boys, and publicly speaking Spanish.

Bush worries me too. I left the Republican Party because of him. Don't mistake me as a moderate somewhere between a Democrat and a Republican. I frankly don't see much difference between liberals and a libertarians. I feel the ranks of un-enrolled conservatives are growing because Republicans in many ways are not that different than Democrats. Nixon was a Democrat if you ask me.

I think Savage provides a valuable service by jabbing at lethargic Republicans and getting under their skin.

No, it's not all the time. It's issue specific. What, are you part of the border busting brigade? 3rd Way are you? One of my goals is the removal of 3rd way devotees from the GOP. Take back the GOP....

"As far as we "losers" that just sit here and post on FR., we can't all be famous like you"

Funny how you put the word "losers" in my mouth, when I not only didn't say that, but I never even remotely indicated it in my post. Frankly I love FR and most of its members and think of them as very bright and anything but losers.

So here's another challenge for you, whoever you are. Find for me where I called anyone a loser and I'll send you tickets for two to the next CBS journalist convention; because they're the only other place I can think of that can twist reality as much as you just did.

First of all, this is NOT news and should NOT have been posted to the News/Activism forum.

Secondly, nobody,NOBODY, should WEVER post stupid vanities to FR,wasting bandwidth.

Thirdly,Michael Savage is an idiot,a howler, and a loon, who says anything and everything, just to get people to listen to him,and as such, you might as well listen to nothing, than listen to this nonentity.

I appreciate the fact that Michael is just about the only talk show host who talks about the Leninist-Marxists in our churches, schools, government, etc. And I really liked his latest book. But I think Michael sometimes does himself more harm than good when he goes off on the President one day, then does what sometimes seems like a complete turnaround the next.

You are right, I am a Texan and I dislike having to pay the doctor bills, and education and housing for illegal immigrants. I hate it!!!!! I just think that you guys are acting like it is sooooooo easy. I wish you would realize that there are amnesty intl. lawyers, ACLU lawyers, activist judges, democrat local legislators, etc., that make your ideas harder than you seem to think it is.

Bush is President, not dictator or King. He was Governor of Texas, I am sure he explored his options at that time regarding the immigrant problem and he is trying to find a way of doing it that won't get hung up on legal technicalities and that an acitivist judge would not let him do.

Besides, I NEVER heard him back off his position, he just said he didn't advocate amnesty. If he hadn't said that then Kerry (blanket amnesty) would have been elected. The hispanic vote probably saved him.

Can't we discuss problems without becoming a BASH BUSH web site?

I'm just wondering how you feel about the $450 billion first installment on that cute little prescription medication bill. Try to remember that the income tax was never going to go above 2% when it was first intituted.

Is that just me being picky?
