Nice post, Dale. A guy like you deserves listening to Savage.
(I'll encourage you) LOL!
Actually, he's an independent. He not only sees the failures inherent in liberalism, but the soft spots is today's conservatism. Bush gets criticized for soft-selling the Islamo threat by masking it as mere terrorism.
Myself, I can't wait until such time as our promotion of liberty and freedom become the norm. Where country's suffering under tyranny at long last become free. And why not?
Dictatorial regimes have ruled over much of the earth's population for most of the modern age. Why not upset the apple-cart?
Bumperooo, straight to the top! You perfectly expressed what I think .... often! Thanks!
You going to arm and put someone at every 5 feet all the way around the USA. All along the Canadian border, the Atlantic Ocean, Gulf of Mexico, Pacific Ocean, Mexican border. You would have to have someone every five feet 24/7 365. They would have to be armed. ACLU will be right in their faces. What would you pay them $10.00 per hour to stand there hour after hour after hour.
Build the fence that would bring out enviros, peta, the HOllywood wackos, all the rich people on Malibu, BiG Sur, New York City.. Gosh a fence around Nantucket, Long
Island. The Kennedys wouldn't like that. No One could see the Statue of Liberty -- well maybe the arm holding the flame
RE; Were ya'll hiding, too chicken to voice your opinions, or now that Bush has been elected
No, we were being team players, in order to keep Kerry out. Now, we are baring our knuckles to the RINOs.
>> Were ya'll hiding, too chicken to voice your opinions, or now that Bush has been elected, its time to spit on him just like the dems have been for 4 years.
You have been living a very sheltered life. Bush's wacky stance on amnesty for illegal immigrants is well-know. He changed his stance during the campaign to oppose amnesty, but now he has flip-flopped again. His support of the pro-abortion Senator Specter in the primary is well-known, but he indicated many times during the campaign that he opposed abortion. Now, his appointment of a pro-Marxist, anti-family, anti-life Attorney General is a slap in the face.
BTW, I don't pander.
I agree.......and ready to get bashed!
RE: Unless you expect him to put a brick fence all the way around the United states (taking away all beaches), there is absolutely NO WAY you can stop all illegals from getting in!!!!!!!!!!
Well for starters, enforce the law on ones who are known. Deport them with no quarter. Any who commit crimes - put them in the slammer for max sentences, fine them until they have nothing, then permanently deport them, to be arrested and put in prison for life if they ever return and are caught. No more kowtowing to Fox. No government aid to illegals and their kids. No drivers licenses. Can it be stopped, probably not, but at least some effort to slow it, and to kick ass on illegals, would be a step in the right direction. What kind of Texan are you any way. How can you not see the downsides of the current situation?
For me right now, Laura Ingraham has the best show on the radio. And Laura don't play that...
The issue is Mexico. In case you missed it, Americans are going to Canada, not the other way around.
People down there are already armed. Legally.
Nah. One guard per 1/8 mile. Scopes work, ya know.
I know of 2,000 people who already volunteered for it. They're ready.
Get back on topic, and I will be glad to reply again.
Michael Savage isn't really a conservative, and not a principled man. He's just a Shock Jock out for ratings. He's very inconsistent. I have no respect for him so quit listening to him.

Newbie ... figures ...
Savage is just trying to get attention. He is separating himself from the rest of the conservative talk show pack. Don't forget it is show business.
So are we going to all sit back and take this amnesty thing? Or scream like a "Savage?"
I weigh in on support of Savage too, stuff he says that is repugnant, little it would be, I tune off, a lot have pushed the envelope and they've got to get ratings too.
Bump.
Put the pressure on Bush to stop kowtowing to Mecha.
So in other words, Free Republic is going to become a conservative DU. Bash Bush all the time. Because I think it will become very lonely for you guys.
Why did you vote for him ---he said he says what he means and means what he says. He said a long time ago that he wanted a worker program with Mexico. Did ya'll not listen?
I don't think it is fair to the FReeper that get on a thread that has a headline pertaining to a subject to be subjected to ya'll bitching about Bush on things that do not have anything to do with the subject of the thread.
If you guys want to go to the chat forum and establish an I HATE BUSH AND NOW THAT I HELPED HIM GET ELECTED I EARNED THE RIGHT TO CRITISIZE EVERYTHING HE DOES thread, then be my guest----I won't bother you there. Just don't bother me on the threads that don't pertain to ya'lls hate for Bush.
I am part of the Savage Nation. And we are growing in number! .... :=)
Is he #5? I thought he was #3, behind only Rush and Sean. I don't like/agree with everything he says and does. But I believe he is a genuinely good person, with the best heart of any of the Jabber Mavens. I'd trust him with a Testarossa and an uncounted sack of diamonds...
