Really, if you want to see intolerance, go to a left-wing board. Most of us are happy to have you here supporting freedom and liberty. Ignore the others; you'll find some here but many more elsewhere.

There is an old Southern backwoodsy tradition of "family names": made-up names given to children long ago, and then passed down through the generations. For example, former Houston Oiler coach "Bum" Phillips is actually named Oail A. Phillips. He did something equally Southern when he named his boy with a surname, Wade. Wade Phillips is now a coach, too.

I think another example would be Oral Roberts. Others may occur to you.
