I find it highly amusing that conservatives accuse liberals of being wimps. You are all the biggest cowards in history. You are terrified of many things, (so afraid that you would rather invade a country than take the time and BRAIN POWER needed to formulate a workable solution) but your biggest fear is having your ideals tested. That is why you don’t allow opposing views on Free Republic. I have been kicked off FR many, many times (and yes, I will be kicked off in a few moments, only to return in less than 5 minutes). You could have views to the right of John Ashcroft and still get kicked off. Why? Because FR does not represent anything but the voice of the republican party. So if a conservative republican wanted to question the wisdom, say, of attacking a decorated Vietnam Veteran as being unpatriotic, well you would be kicked off for that. (Kerry was awarded some of the highest military honors you can get. He didn’t apply for them. He didn’t ask for a purple heart. Have you ever heard of someone applying for a purple heart? Of course not) As long as you stick to the talking points, and never divert from the party line, you’re OK. Is that your idea of free speech? The republicans actually represent a miniscule percentage of our populace. They don’t represent you. They don’t serve you, and they never will. But they are more than happy to use you.
