RUMOR RUMOR RUMOR
However, it looks as though there is a chance that Lucas will go ahead with his original (a long time ago) plans for three trilogies!
*yawn* He lost me after the Empire Strikes Back.
Hmmmmmmm. As long as there's good lightsabre duels, I'm in!
Great. Harrison Ford can return to play the geriatric Hans Solo.
Why not go further back in time, showing the Emperor and Darth Maul as cute cuddly little kids?
More like Han So Old.
ILM NDAs for Episodes 7,8 and 9

A little Jedi stopped by the inbox today with some information fans have to pray is actually happening. Rumors at best folks ... ones we love, but we have to remind you: rumors!
You didn't hear this from me, but you might be curious as to why everyone at ILM just signed NDA's (Non Disclosure Agreement) saying that they will not discuss Star Wars EP7, 8, or 9. Since they're not being made, why the NDA's? Of course, since when has the flannel one been consistent?
I always thought there should have been a medical show spin-off: O.B. Gyn Kenobi.
"Your schwartz is as long as mine!"
Pingarooni.
Hopefully, 7 - 9 will have more chemistry among the characters than the vacuous Episode I and the vile (of helium and argon) Episode II!
All you Depends are belong to me
As a former BIG Star Wars fan, I think I can safely say that the only true good lightsaber duel was in Phantom Menace. The other 2 good duels were a result of Vader taunting Luke (ESB) and the Emperor/Vader taunting Luke (RotJ). Toss the taunting out and the action isn't all that spectacular.
Oh, I have "Duality" on my hard drive. EXCELLENT movie!
What's more, it's not clear that they should be "protecting" anyone. The Jedi are Lucas's great heroes, full of Zen wisdom and righteous power. They encourage people to "use the Force"--the mystical energy which is the source of their power--but the truth, revealed in "The Phantom Menace," is that the Force isn't available to the rabble. The Force comes from midi-chlorians, tiny symbiotic organisms in people's blood, like mitochondria. The Force, it turns out, is an inherited, genetic trait. If you don't have the blood, you don't get the Force. Which makes the Jedi not a democratic militia, but a royalist Swiss guard. Like the United Nations, the Republic has no armed forces of its own, but instead relies on a group of warriors, the Jedi knights, to "keep the peace." The Jedi, while autonomous, often work in tandem with the Senate, trying to smooth over quarrels and avoid conflicts. But the Jedi number only in the thousands--they cannot protect everyone.
Actually, I think Episodes 7-9 were to follow Han and Leia's children, so that''s quite possible.
apparently george lucas feels their is a shortage of crappy movies today, and needs to extend the series further to fill the cap.
He lost me after the teddy-bears-as-heroes schtick.
