Freeper crabbie aka "Carol" has the following tale and I asked if it was okay if I sent it up to the prayer chain.
Re: Prayers From crabbie | 06/28/2004 10:14:31 PM EDT
I was hoping that you would offer.
(Surgery for ovarian cancer 4/02, chemo from 5/02 through 8/03 with remission from 7/02 through 2/04.
Now the recurrence in 3/04 with weekly chemo since 4/16/04).
Prayer has gotten me through this far and kept me very hopeful and calm. I truly believe that He will keep me either cured or in a series of remissions so that I will live to match my mother's age. She is 86 and I am 55.
Carol.

May God hold you close now and give you peace and strength. May He guide the doctors and nurses who care for you and may He use His awesome healing power, if that is His will. In Jesus' name.
Carolyn
P.S. I was given less than a year to live in 1998 -- lung cancer. Thanks to God, good doctors and a special diet (and lots of prayers) I'm still here. If you would like details re diet, let me know.

A very special and heartfelt thank you to all the Freeper Prayer Warriors for working a miracle for me.
I received my blood test results today and they fall within the range of a normal person without cancer. This means remission.
Thank you all so very much for lifting me up to Him and affirming together our collective faith in His power to heal! You will all forever be in my prayers.

crabbie...thank you for the wonderful praise report!! Freeper prayers are very powerful, but not as powerful as OUR LORD!! I will continue to pray for the remission to be followed by complete healing!

Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks that we can rejoice with crabbie for the blessings You have showered upon her today ... may those who see her be drawn to her relationship with You ... may they, too, come to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank You, Merciful Father, that You use everything in our lives to advance the Gospel of Christ. Greatly are You to be praised, now and forevermore. Amen ...
