My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and I...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Good morning, Sam!
WOW Dolly Pardon, I Will Always Love You, what a song. Whitney Houston did a great job on the song, but nobody can sing it like Dolly, it's her song.
Cracking up over Oysters. Sense of humor today, eh??
The temp here this a.m. is 61F. How's that for a July day?
One year we had snow on the 4th of July. :-(

I'm back, after a few days without internet connection due to the phone company trolls eating our phoneline.
Sis sent me soime lyrics to a song we found..
H.I.M. - Funeral of Hearts
Love's the funeral of hearts
And an ode for cruelty
When angels cry blood
On flowers of evil in bloom
The funeral of hearts
And a plea for mercy
When love is a gun
Separating me from you
She was the sun
Shining upon
The tomb of your hopes and dreams so frail
He was the moon
Painting you
With it's glow so vulnerable and pale
Love's the funeral of hearts
And an ode for cruelty
When angels cry blood
On flowers of evil in bloom
The funeral of hearts
And a plea for mercy
When love is a gun
Separating me from you
She was the wind, carrying in
All the troubles and fears here for years tried to forget
He was the fire, restless and wild
And you were like a moth to that flame
We're already seemed beyond divine
Pray to god as deaf and blind
The last night's the soul's on fire
Dreaming to answer the question why
Love's the funeral of hearts
And an ode for cruelty
When angels cry blood
On flowers of evil in bloom
The funeral of hearts
And a plea for mercy
When love is a gun
Separating me from you

Hi you two.
She was the sun
Shining upon
The tomb of your hopes and dreams so frail
He was the moon
Painting you
With it's glow so vulnerable and pale
I like this stanza.

What got me wondering was if Radu knows of them since the band is a gothic band.

Another odd 'note' about the lyrics.
Sis had been thinking of posting them herself and goes: "*boink* Umm.. It's more my brother's styling.. Hey bro, how about you post it? Freepmail!"

You know Darksheare that could be so. Radu has a good grip on Goth music.

I know, that's why she popped into my head when I first heard the band.
*chuckle*
Did you hear that the 80's Punk band and grandfathers of goth "the Cure" are touring again?

I don't follow Goth Dark, so I did not know that. The one Goth I do love is by the woman in Evan??? I can't remember, but you know who it is.

Good nite poets
May the sweet aroma of Lily of the Valley fill your dreams caress your face tenderly lull you to sleep in the safety of knowing love...
~ Dream a Little ~ Love a Lot ~
I remember the color your hair was... the color of spiced rum With memories of you walking without me in gentle oriental rain Left me with dreams of being lost in your embrace. The peace in your eyes shone through I was lost, lost in your eyes ..........lost in your embrace... Dreams of you at Indian Twilight...

LOL! Stumped me with this band. I haven't followed Goth as much since moving back to TN. Since leaving Raleigh, and it's music scene which I dwelled in, I've lost touch with a lot. Nothing like it around here at all. *sigh*
Maybe one day I'll get brave enough to post the pic from the album cover I posed for years ago. It's a bit bizarre and really had the city of Raleigh on its collective ear when the album was released. hehehe....that was ok with us. The more they yammered, the better record sales were. We all got a kick out of it, to say the least.
Dang, I'd loooooove to see The Cure in concert!! I've always liked their music. Too bad they won't be anywhere close. (I just checked.) Pooey!

LOL!
Here's the weird part: NONE of the band members from The Cure appear to have aged.
It's as if they were put in stasis pr dumped through a time portal to now straight from their last tour.
