Well, I'm working while I'm taping and peeked ahead. Oh well. The judges pushed Fantasia hard. While she's got charisma and energy, and is talented, I don't think she's a complete singer, and her breath support is sometimes weak. (Hence all the yeah yeahs.)
Clay's still my favorite - when he sings, he's got that "listen to me!" quality. Diana, for instance, when she sang Enough is Enough, made me do what I often did with Clay's performances: rewind the tape to watch them again. She's a bit away from matching his performance quality, but she's shown that she is very coachable and will go far.
and then at the end of the rainbow is Pres. Bush re elected on NOV 2nd. I cant go wrong right now : )))
He could use that, after seeing him bellowing before moron.org.

Darn. Missed American Idol and Mark Levin on H&C because lightning topped out a poplar tree and set my chestnut tree on fire. Called 911 and the fire department got here really fast....but I missed the show and thread here. Drats.

No joke. Flames were arcing over power lines as well. Really scared me because winds might have also blown flames toward my house. Thank God, it's out, but Duke Power has to come tomorrow to cut some limbs off the lines.
The Hobbit Hole is a continuing series of threads over on the chat side which started with a group of Lord of the Rings fans, but has since developed into lifelong friendships.
We send care packages to our troops and spend our days in idle chit-chat. HairoftheDog and ecurbh have been Hobbit Hole Dwellers for years and they are now getting married in 3 weeks!! *snif* I'm flying up there for the wedding with a few other Hobbit Hole FReepers.
We all got together in Melbourne, Florida in January. We all chipped in and rented a beach house and had a fabulous time. Click the link at the top of the thread to see the pics, etc.

He sang Take Me Out To The Ballgame at wrigley field last friday at the cubs-cardinals game....and he was awlful...which is OK...but it was pretty funny.
