I, too, remember how well Fantasia took being in the bottom group. She gained a lot of admiration with her demeanor.
Not sure why she won, it's something intangible besides pure talent for sure.
I don't begrudge her win. I do think Diana is an American role model!

I agree with you.
Fantasia's voice would drive me to drink after two songs. I could never sit through an entire album/concet.
She is far from a role model. Would you want your kids to idolize a 19 year old unmarried mother of a three year old?
Plus, she is the poster child for Bill Cosby's speech on illiteracy in the Black community. America will be embarassed when Fantasia hits the interview circuit
Fantasia's selection proves that America is not racist... just stupid!
