President Bush traveled to New York today to participate in the groundbreaking ceremony for the Nassau County 9/11 Memorial in Eisenhower Park, Long Island, being built in memory of the 281 residents of Nassau County who lost their lives in the 9/11 attacks, and visited with families of the victims. Before he left, he made a statement to the press regarding the terrorist attack in Madrid, Spain.
He also visited USA Industries, an automotive parts manufacturing company in Bay Shore, New York, and spoke to workers about the economy and jobs training. He then attended a fund raiser with Rudy Giuliani and Governor Pataki.
There are lots of fabulous pictures today, so enjoy your trip to Sanity Island on the Daily Dose !!

That man (Dubya) has more facial expressions than any public figure I have ever known, and I love every one of them! (OTOH Botox man is as stiff, wooden, and boring as Algore.)

**Botox man is as stiff, wooden, and boring as Algore.**
I think he's worse, actually. Aldork was just boring. He doesn't have an adorable grin like Dubya but Kerry looks like his face is coming off when he smiles.

The general pattern, for a picture that is already visible on the web at a url of say
http://xyz/abc.jpg, is to type:
<img src=http://xyz/abc.jpg>
where you want the picture to appear.

Did what ...? Looks fine here - as does your post. Are you seeing the dreaded red
X?
To: jlyspio
You're welcome. Thanks for the pointer.

The posting system was different again tonight.
Whenever it's like it is, the Dose somehow ends up in "Chat."

Hmmm ... not sure what happened to that image posting.
I'm guessing you left off the trailing > character, and then the automatic Free Republic software that converts html links into anchors, in posts with no other html markup, got to it.
In other words, I suspect you typed:
<img src=http://www.presidentialbus.com/candidates/bush_jog.html
but should have typed:
<img src=http://www.presidentialbus.com/candidates/bush_jog.html>
Notice the one extra
> character at the end.
To: DrDeb
We certainly are! I admire our President SO much for having enough courage to lead us through this incredibly difficult time.
