Scott that sounds wonderful. I remember well how much praying I did (and all of the Hobbit Hole). It seems like God really opened up a great place for you to move up in the world. I'm sure He knew you were up to the challenge! It's pretty intimidating to think that you got such a HUGH job. But, in the scheme of things seems like prayers were answered in a mighty way for you to have an opportunity that can provide you with such a high profile place from which you can jump to the next one!

I just found out some interesting 'extended family' news!

That is VEY cool Suzi! I haven't seen Monster yet but sounds like a good reason to get it one of these days.

I had one of those interesting "discoveries" when I got back from entmoot too. That day my aunt had that heart attack we'd gone for a burger with one of our lady HAM radio buddies. Long time good friend. I didn't know till that day at lunch that Pat Green is her nephew! I was amazed!

I wish I'd thought of this while I was pregnant...I could have really used a foot rub a couple of times, my feet would ache so. And didn't you say they massage your feet when you get a pedicure? That's about it for me as far as massage goes...nobody's laying a hand on me otherwise! LOL

Oh my gosh Dana! I'm so sorry you had such an awful day and night but relieved that God worked this one SO FAST!!! I can just imagine how aweful that musta been! Reminds me some of when Myranda had her ears pierced when she was in elementary school and they got infected! I don't want to go into that but it was gut wrenching all that happened with that!

I didn't get a prayer notice but you were on my mind ALL evening Friday to the point that I started to call you several times but I figured ya'll had something going on and didn't want to bother you! Now I know it was the Holy Spirit putting you on my mind to PRAY!!! I'm so glad Jeric is okay!

You don't have to have another one. I only tease you about it! But, I sure am glad you have the one!

Hey 2j! That is VEY cool about the phone! Yesterday morning Myranda called me from her cell phone. You know I got us both cell phones when we moved up here cause I wanted her to be able to reach me at all times. And vice versa. I always needed to know she was safe. In high school in a town where we knew NO ONE!

Well, I found out that finally last week it really saved her. You know she is living with my mom and dad now. They left for a week of vacation but left her with mom's car to get to school etc. She forgot and left the lights on and ran the battery down when she went to school! Scared her!! But, she used the cell phone to call a classmate and he came and gave her a jumpstart! Whew! Just knowing that makes me glad I'm still paying for that phone for her!

I was just telling OT the other day that I felt like I needed to get a cell phone, that I was thinking of getting one of those ones at Walmart with the prepaid minutes, you know? Just because of that reason...a what if situation.

I have unlimited long distance too, on nights and weekends...

I love having a cell phone. I never use it, but it's there when I need it. I've got one of those "pay as you go" deals, so no monthly contract to worry about, either.

And the thing is, if I'd gotten a cellphone, I would have just got the cheapest simpliest model. But because this is a cell phone that my DAD purchased for himself, I got a swank one!

It was just too little for him.

You know, I can just push the green button, say "Celeste" into it, and it calls my friend Celeste!

LOL... when I read your post about wanting the manicure I was SO wishing that you lived here cause I woulda picked you up and taken you for it yesterday! I love them so!

Don't know if you remember I mentioned it but my friend Celia here took me for one the day after Thanksgiving. For years and years I have always had these fake acrylic nails.... but when Grama got so bad last winter I just didn't have time to keep them up and let 'em go. Then, after she died I was so depressed I never went and got them again. Apparantly this bothered Celia cause she know how much I love them. I would think about it but just *not do it.*

It meant a lot to me that she finally put her foot down on Thanksgiving day and said, "Tomorrow you are going to meet me at the nail salon and get them done!"

And yes! The pedicure with the foot massage is heavenly to me too. I can just almost fall asleep! :-)

Well, I will give you a thorough description of my manicure. I'm vey excited. Never had anything like this before.

The pedicure will have to wait for a gift. At least my toe doesn't creak any more...the one I broke, you know?

We have so many night and weekend minutes that it might as well be unlimited. I forget how many but calculated it one time and discovered we would both have to talk most of the weekend and hours in the night to use them all! It's nice now cause with her far away and me here we can use them to talk to each other....cept she has too busy a life. But, she did talk to me got 2 hours yesterday morning! :-)

OOoo... You got a VEY cool one! Mine's more basic.... cause I think like you! LOL But, also cause I had to get 2! One for each of us. Since I was buying 2 though the best deal ended up being one with a good many minutes - especially the night and weekend thing. But, we have a generous amount during peak times as well cause of the 2 phone deal.

I have never been one to talk on the phone a lot so we don't even get close to using up all the minutes - except one month when Myranda really went nuts! So, the way it is, I can just pick up the phone and use it any time without being concerned about my minutes. Trouble is, the contract is up in about 2 weeks and I gotta go get another one. Hopefully, the same deal.
