Hey 2j! That is VEY cool about the phone! Yesterday morning Myranda called me from her cell phone. You know I got us both cell phones when we moved up here cause I wanted her to be able to reach me at all times. And vice versa. I always needed to know she was safe. In high school in a town where we knew NO ONE!

Well, I found out that finally last week it really saved her. You know she is living with my mom and dad now. They left for a week of vacation but left her with mom's car to get to school etc. She forgot and left the lights on and ran the battery down when she went to school! Scared her!! But, she used the cell phone to call a classmate and he came and gave her a jumpstart! Whew! Just knowing that makes me glad I'm still paying for that phone for her!

I was just telling OT the other day that I felt like I needed to get a cell phone, that I was thinking of getting one of those ones at Walmart with the prepaid minutes, you know? Just because of that reason...a what if situation.

I have unlimited long distance too, on nights and weekends...

I love having a cell phone. I never use it, but it's there when I need it. I've got one of those "pay as you go" deals, so no monthly contract to worry about, either.

And the thing is, if I'd gotten a cellphone, I would have just got the cheapest simpliest model. But because this is a cell phone that my DAD purchased for himself, I got a swank one!

It was just too little for him.

You know, I can just push the green button, say "Celeste" into it, and it calls my friend Celeste!
