The Hobbit Hole VI - And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
Posted on 01/31/2004 9:52:08 AM PST by ecurbh
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Sounds like a swell deal to me!
Mmmm...tacos!

I know JenB said the dress looked Elvish, but I think if the sleeves were longer it would look more like something Eowyn would wear!

Yeah! And they are really good, too! Much better than Taco Bell. All of Beuno's food is...not as nice as a restaurant, but a notch better than Taco Bell.
I know this may sound silly, but I think they are just such a blessing! God knows I love junk food and except for the occassional splurge at Baskin Robbins, I never go. This gives me a hit of junk food, so to speak! LOL

Hi.
We got off work early Heh....roads were better at the usual commute time so I cleaned up around here....did everything except the living room.
I'm learning a couple of new tunes...now I'm listenting to the pre-game show and doing the dishes.

But my family has a lonnnnnng tape someone made them of Spongebob episodes. Granted I haven't seen him every day for years or anything...but they were actually pretty entertaining, especially for a kid show.

It's why I went out for the tacos...my kitchen is nice and clean and I just didn't want to mess it all up just for me...not even a little bit.
My mom bought me a dozen harvest blend bagels from the day-old bin. They are still selling them, which is fine by me!

They are still selling them, which is fine by me!That means you don't have to eat up all your frozen stash right away!

That is exactly right! They are frozen, out in the shop fridge. The day olds are frozen too, but I eat them first.

We used to go to see the Washington Capitals play (back when their stadium was still in Maryland so it's been a loooong time). But if they scored three goals, everybody would get a coupon for a half gallon of ice cream.
So after the second goal, the crowd would start chanting "ICE CREAM! ICE CREAM!"

Oh! Very cool! We have Sponge Bob now! :-)
Today is a lot better than yesterday when Martha showed up to let us know how messy the place is!

Now that's funny! I'd watc hockey for free ice cream!
I've decided to start an exercise program that's been recommended to me, with the goal of running a 5k sometime this summer. Figure it's time I start exercising regularly and it's good to have a goal... and for the first time in my life, I feel physically able to learn how to run. It's kind of exciting.

*sigh* I ran a 5k...once.
Couldn't tell that now.
Running is very good exercise, though - so long as it doesn't bother your knees! I should get a treadmill someday. There isn't a very good place to run here, and it'd be nice to get back into that!
To: JenB
How does the exercise program work? Is it a run/walk sort of thing, that starts off with mostly walking and then increases the proportion of running?
To: RosieCotton
Well, we have a treadmill, and a tv to go with it, so walking/running is... ok. And this program is really gradual, I should be able to do it. Maybe it'll take more than the eight week minimum but I'm kinda ok with that.

Yeah, it's like that - it's
here, btw, and I know several people who've used it successfully, so I'll try it. Hey, nothing to lose but my knees, right?
