I have often wondered if they picked up a lot of non-news-junkie viewers during the war and now they are trying to hold them with the tabloid stuff. In the meantime, those of us who were fans all along are getting the short straw ..... :-(

I'm stumped on the name of an old movie....I think Cary Grant was in it. I'm going on what I remember from about 40 years ago. There was a scene where there was a small train that went from the kitchen to the living room. It was used to serve drinks/ refreshment...etc. Anyone remember???

We have had a snow flurry since I got up .... will check out road conditions between here and Charlotte before leaving home though. Have to cross two bridges as well as numerous overpasses ..... and I don't drive in the wintery stuff. I'm a wimp.

Here's something I posted on ATRW (yesterday's thread) this Morning!

1. On just about every radio talk show I was listening to the past few days there have been at least half a dozen "rats" jumping ship over this.

It makes me sick!

Why do people feel they have to kick the President to the curb over a single issue. I've never been able to understand that.

But I did hear some good news

The President's poll Nos# are at 56% approval rating.

2. Some folks are basically saying that because I don't have any doubts about that proposal about the Immigration situation (I trust President Bush's judgement), then I must be somehow anti-American

Well I got news for them and for anybody else who questioned MY patriotism

Even though I'm part Canadian, I was born in the USA and raised in the USA and I'll porbably die in the USA!

I LOVE my country and I support President Bush 100% because I feel he has this country's best interest at heart.

The only thing I'm angry about is the fact that Vicente Fox is trying his best to undermined both our President and our soveriegnty while claiming we owe the Mexicans something.

Another thing I'm sick of discussing this!

Canabalism is a fun thing to watch.

Has anyone else noticed that within the last week the news media appears to have turned on Dean? This story about him dissing the Caucuses was not generated by one of the other campaigns,, it came from a newspaper. Someone predicted this was going to happen about 3 wks ago. I remember reading that prediction here at FR, can't remember who the forcaster was,, or 'where' the post occurred.
