Yes, but at least ricky speaks the international language of love....

I suppose I'm not the most qualified or entitled to address his listeners. Yup.

What word do your children use for "testicles"? Are nuts, balls, cajones, allowed?
How about chin slappers?

People with possible criminal prosecution hanging over their head are 100% preoccupied with it. It is because the matter is completely outside their control. All they can do is worry about it. Once the investigation is over he'll be back to his old self, unfortunately, that could take awhile.

I like him so much better since he has returned. e is a little more angry but that is what was missing from the show, IMO. I couldn't listen to the golf talk, the name dropping, ad nauseum. I had the same problem in the last few years, riri.
Frankly, I sort of kept him on in the background, but it wasn't like the Clinton years when he seemed on fire a lot.
I think he is a lot more like his old self, now.

Good points. The original poster didn't describe HOW Rush had changed, and while I have not listened to him much since his return, I would hope and expect that he is changed, and the change has been for the better.

Is the dial broken on your radio? Who forces you to listen to Rush?

The Latin 'testis' originally meant "witness".
Romans placed their right hands on their testicles and swore by them before giving testimony in court.
Complementary pairs such as hands, eyes, and ears,
had the technical medical sense "testicles," that is
"two glands side by side."
FYI (I swear)

He spends a vast majority if his time talking petty domestic party politics. Daschle this, Gephardt that. It is endless.
Contrast this to Dennis Prager, who takes on complex issues in a broad, philosohpical manner. He also does fascinating interviews, most recently a mixed race Jamacian immigrant convert to Islam whose visit to Egypt compelled him to conclude that he likes being an American. Contrast that to Hillary this and Clinton sucks and blah, blah, blah... (Clinton does suck, of course)
Prager is actually educated. Rush is one of the most poorly educated national talk show hosts.
Prager has his own flaws. He's obsessive compulsive, and certainly not the only option. The point is that there is much more worthwhile radio out there than Rush--by a huge margin.
Take a few hours to listen to the enemy. The incredible KPFK, for example, which virtually openly advocates communist revolution.

Ahh... Pardon me. I got caught up in the excitement of using "that word."

Sometimes I wish he'd say ; Hillary's got 'em by the BALLS! Rush, regardless of any other faults he might have, is a master of the spoken word, of communicating complex ideas in a clear and engaging manner. He could say "Hillary's got 'em by the balls", but that's old and trite. By using the unique and creative phrasing he does, he gets his idea heard above the clutter. And the best part is, he succeeds in poking fun not only at Hillary, but at Algore and Democrats in general, all while making a very valid observation in a memorable way.

...the comment about Shrillary was APT...sometimes RUSH will use 'shock' words, with similar effects. He's waking people up...(like pre-'94), maybe the years he was under 'the influence' somewhat deaden his wit. He's much better now, much to the dismay of Shrillary Clinton DNC lackeys...and Liberals in General.

Yes it is. Too bad Cusack is a political idiot - he's a very good actor.
