Another senator unwittingly making an argument of repealing the 17th Amendment!

I agree that President trump should start the process of adding 4 more Judges during his term.

The unfortunate part is that if we can’t even force Thune and his colleagues to (a) pass the SAVE act and (b) end the filibuster, then there’s no way they’d suddenly have a ‘eureka’ moment and add 2 or 4 more justices.
That said, here’s my demands of them:
1. Add 4 more originalists to the court.
2. Pass the SAVE act
3. Change Senate rules to do the following:
> a. Require 3/4ths majority to change the size of the court in the future
> b. Eliminate cloture requirements for budgetary matters.
> c. Require 3/4ths majority to change filibuster rules in the future. (I personally don’t care if the filibuster is ended now... I just want to prevent it from being wielded as a political weapon).
If we win the mid-terms, I hope we kill the fillibuster, and pack the Supreme Court.
Pack the SCOTUS? Remember when Scalia died and Mitch kept the seat open? Republicans responded that November by getting the voters to decide. Saying it openly is not too smart.
Having these negative intentions is like having syphilis-you don’t go telling everybody about it.
They’ve been saying it since Biden. Guarantee they will do it if they get power again.
The sooner the better. And don’t forget to start removing demonrat appointed judges from the bench.

Trump is missing an opportunity here. On Monday announce he is expanding the Supreme Court to 14 justices. Submit a list of five new nominees to the Senate for approval. Get some popcorn and sit and enjoy a few days of the leftholes and mediawhores foam at the mouth as they spew their hypocritical rage. Then next week, say fine. You’re right. Let’s keep it at 9. Then introduce the proposed 28th amendment that says that Supreme Court stays at nine justices.
My statement still stands. - Repeal the 17th Amendment!
