The coastal city of Fujisawa in Japan has become the epicenter of a heated national debate. In a series of videos that have since gone viral on social media, thousands of residents took to the streets this week to protest the construction of the city’s first mosque.
The demonstration wasn’t just a small neighbourhood gathering. The video, shared by @MeghUpdates showed a massive display of public anxiety. Protesters were seen chanting against the project, raising placards, and voicing concerns that the proposed structure—reportedly much larger than nearby historic Shinto shrines—is an “act of provocation" against Japanese heritage.

The Japanese are smarter than we are...they defend their culture. Not only do we let people in who hate our country and culture, some “Americans” elect them to office. Talk about stupid...

Good on many levels: preserving a unique culture, traditions, societal expectations. They are acting on the reality that muslims will NOT assimilate, they will push their sharia bullshit, increase crime, be drain on social services.

Greater Tokyo, for those wondering where in Japan. Not far from Yokohama and Yokosuka, the latter being an important U.S. Navy base.
Look at our country and compare the number of mosques with the number of synagogues. The numbers are hard to compare because some of the muslim houses of worship are small but there are about 3,000 synagogues and 3,000 muslim houses of worship. The latter are expanding rapidly.
We allow thousands of mosques here yet in Saudi Arabia all churches are prohibited. Christians can’t even go to Mecca. Somehow our country think if we’re nice to muslims they will be nice to us. Ha! they want to kill all non-muslims.
The situation is just as bad with the muslim schools here. Tax dollars support their schools where the students are taught to want to eliminate Christians and Jews.
