On Tuesday's CNN This Morning, host Audie Cornish turned to retired Brigadier General Steven M. Anderson to assess President Trump’s potential expansion of military strikes on Iran.
Anderson repeatedly warned that targeting infrastructure such as bridges, power plants, and water facilities could amount to “war crimes,” even suggesting U.S. troops could be put in the position of refusing “illegal” orders.
Cornish failed to disclose that Anderson sits on the board of VoteVets, a progressive PAC that backs Democrat candidates. Nor did she note his record of sweeping, alarmist claims, including warning in a Washington Post op-ed of a potential military coup, and, in a recent MS NOW appearance, calling the Iran conflict ‘the greatest geopolitical disaster in the history of our country.”

Ping to Liberal Media Criticism list.
How does a general not know that the British bombed dams during WWII knowing full well that civilians would drown?
They even devised special bombs for the purpose.
So if a country is using their highway system to move large ballistic missiles around it would be a war crime to stop that?
Tell me how that makes sense.
Carpet bombing would be an issue. Taking out their ability to wage war is fair game. (And there are ways to take out a grid without significant infrastructure damage.)
Now, firing ballistic missiles into the refineries of a non-combatant nation would constitute a war crime. But, I guess that is none of our business.
Okay call the war police
Ukraine has been blowing up bridges...and energy facilities.
Dam Busters…..good movie.
CNN has terminal TDS.
There’s no vaccine for it.
You sure you want to risk your retirement rank “General”...?
Badmouthing the CinC during wartime is not a good idea
The sheer dishonesty of CNN. If a panelist has a Republican or conservative connection, CNN never fails to mention it. But CNN doesn’t disclose that this guy is a liberal activist!
The Iranian ragheads firing “cluster bombs” into Israel IS A WAR CRIME. There is no “could be” about that. This ONE STAR “LEFTY “General” appears to have a lot of unresolved mental issues. The boy needs to take a hike.
So what. It just means they have some common sense.
The idea that blowing up bridges is a war crime is absurd.
Yup!
W. T. Sherman would like a word. And he did it to his own countrymen.
Well that took longer than I expected. I wonder if the “icc” will issue arrest warrants for PDJT. Maybe exhume some past presidents and charge them for what occurred during WW II. Fookin’ idjits!
True. But you can treat it successfully with potassium chloride intravenously.
Hegseth needs to pull this clown’s pension for aiding and abetting America’s enemy. A real Iranian lover.

When are the new owners of CNN (Paramount) going to dismantle that Network?
Of, that's tight, because it's Trump, and even though he was elected three time, though the seconf win was overriden by theft of the election, we no longer are considered citizens, or we are, and that is why we must be ignored.
