President Donald Trump reportedly told Group of Seven leaders this week that Iran is "about to surrender," as the U.S. and Israel continue a sweeping military campaign against the regime's military infrastructure.
According to Axios, Trump made the remark during a virtual call Wednesday, boasting about the results of the ongoing U.S.-led military operation targeting Iran’s missile forces, navy, and defense industry.
"I got rid of a cancer that was threatening us all," Trump reportedly told the leaders, referring to "Operation Epic Fury" and the strikes that have hammered Iranian military targets over the past two weeks.

I don't anticipate Iran will surrender as long as even one missile remains. And their territory intact.
I don’t think the Islamic Republic government is going to surrender. It won’t happen until they have been physically removed and a new government installed to surrender, whether by our and allied troops or a street revolution like Romania in 1989. And even then there will be a lot of dead enders causing problems like in Iraq after Saddam was chased out.
I have a feeling that once the ICRG thugs are defanged and the Iranian people start dishing out some well deserved street justice things will start happening very quickly.
I hope we start air dropping crates of AK-47s and ammo when the time is right.

I can’t recall an event where real Islamic fanatics have surrendered in defeat. Saddam’s army wasn’t shia, it was sunni, even though Shia formed the majority.
Shia are the all-in, fundamentalist Muslims.
Mahyar Tousi reported that at least some of the mullahs have been recorded at Canadian and British airports; they’re escaping.
I’m wondering if Trump’s claims are based on that, as well as knowing that Kharg Island was going to be hit.
I also strongly doubt that they will surrender, though. I’m not sure what surrender would even look like.
