Jake Tapper's Biden Book is Hilarious and Insane
Racket News ^ | 28 May 2025 | Matt Taibbi

Tapper and Thompson's mass media apologia is leaps and bounds more demented than the book's subject, Joe Biden

I wasn’t going to do it, really. After stepping to the edge of nervous collapse of late, I promised, no more Conventional Wisdom Bestsellers. I saw Abundance in an airport and turned away before registering cover art. I had the same plan for Original Sin, the “controversial” book in which CNN’s Jake Tapper teams with Alex Thompson of Axios to get real about the media and Joe Biden’s health. One moment of late-night weakness later, I was reading from Chapter One, “He Totally F***ed Us”:

No one thought that the Harris campaign had been without error. But for the most knowledgeable Democratic officials and donors, and for top members of the Harris campaign, there was no question about the father of this election calamity: It was Joe Biden. Harris, loyal to Biden to a fault, might never say such a thing. But plenty of people around her would… “We got so screwed by Biden as a party,” David Plouffe, who helped run the Harris campaign, told us.. Harris, he said, was a “great soldier,” but the compressed 107-day race was “a f***ing nightmare.”

“And it’s all Biden,” Plouffe said... Plouffe added: “He totally f***ed us.”

Holy catfish! I thought from online buzz that Original Sin was a mea culpa. It would own press failures to cover Joe Biden’s infirmity in a super-belated version of Canadian comic Bruce McCullough’s “I’m sorry I caused all that cancer” routine. But Original Sin isn’t that. It’s much crazier! Instead of a dreary and predictable book-length excuse for thousands of media professionals simultaneously whiffing on the most obvious story in history, it’s an ambitious book-length effort to absolve all concerned, pin an industry’s coverage mistake on its President Droolcup subject...

The book says nothing that everyone with an ounce of common sense didn’t know for the last couple years. It answers its own question “why didn’t we know?” completely incorrectly. They knew, they were just in denial to the rest of the public. But hey, now we can trust them again, right???

If the MSM was really so blind to this glaring issue, over such a long period, they have nothing of value to bring to the table, ever. A selectively blind “watchdog” media is less than worthless.

Tapper and his co-criminal are liars. This book is nothing but a continuation of the damage they have been doing for YEARS. They continue to believe that we are all stupid enough to accept how they tell us to think. They are, and have always BEEN, enemies of the people.

I’m waiting for the book that details how Obama CHOSE Biden, full knowing that he was a nasty old man and incompetent, because all he needed was a controllable face for his third term. He and the democrats stole the election and thought they could do it all again in 2024. Obama failed to understand that dementia, as it gets worse, makes the victim even MORE uncontrollable. He was just “too smart” for the final lap.

The only reason for this book is quite simple.

This is their setup for Trump.

“Ohhhh gosh, we should have paid more attention and asked more questions.”

They are already laying the groundwork for the narrative that Trump is in decline. “We missed it with Biden but now we know what to look for. Trump isn’t well!”

That drumbeat is just going to get louder and louder. Especially the closer we get to mid-terms.

No, there is a purpose to this book. The evil purpose of this book is to lay blameless all those cabinet members who want to run for president. Or run a defense company. They clearly knew the president had no ability to make decisions. Remember decisions were made. Wars were fought. Weapons were sold. Checks were released to the public. Debts were forgiven. Borders were opened. The FBI was raiding houses early in the morning and shooting a few innocents. All those people did that on their own without a president. They had the power to invoke the 25th amendment. They had the power to speak up. It only took one of them. They did not do it. You can blame the press. They were clearly in on it. But they were the lookouts. While the other thieves were in the government committing all sorts of atrocities. This book is not merely exposing a cover up. Its also a cover up itself.

The mass media position at this point:

1. We were stupid as rocks and were duped by a brilliant propaganda campaign run out of the White House.

2. Don’t worry about that though. We could never be fooled again. Trust us.

Lol.

As Professor Henry Higgins might say: “By George, I think you’ve got it!”

The legacy enemedia are so transparent.

“They had the power to speak up.”

Excellent point.

In the entire Democrat Party there were zero cabinet members, zero governors, zero senior or mid level staffers, zero U.S. Senators and zero Member of the House of Representatives who dared to stand up and scream the entire administration was a fraud.

They were cowards.

They were liars.

They are all unqualified to take garbage bins to the curb much less hold public office.

Yup—that is the “age” language that keeps creeping into articles.

“Biden was old.”

“Biden was aging.”

etc etc etc....

There are one hundred year old people that are just fine.

Biden was senile.

They do not want to admit it.

Exactly—they are covering up the cover up. Gas lighting us on the gas lighting. They’re hoping this explains away everything and we don’t need to look any further.

Absolutely correct. Our country was hijacked by a cabal of RATs. Media and political, legislative and judicial.

Biden was chosen for his ability to fog a mirror. The perfect sock puppet as was Harris. She had no policy ideas of her own and would do as instructed bu the party leaders (do not say Obama, he’s not that smart. Politburo? Maybe)
Tappers book is meant to gaslight the dem voters. It has no effect on us. We knew from the beginning. All the attacks on MAGA were to shield the scam from further investigation since MAGA were the object of their Hate you could never allow the, to be right about anything.
In getting to the bottom of this criminal behavior, forget politics. Pursue the ones who impersonated a Federal Official and incarcerate them for 20 years with no parole.
