Has the left finally a reason to be impassioned by a threat to our national security? Michaele and Tareq Salahi seem to have provided that reason.

After the Salahis literally crashed a White House State Dinner on Nov. 24, the two demonstrated how vulnerable President Barack Obama could be to outside intruders. And justifiably, it has not only caused some concern with members of Congress, but some of the more outspoken members in the media.

On the Fox Business Channel's Nov. 30 "Imus in the Morning" program, host Don Imus conveyed this concern, suggesting it exposed potential weaknesses in the U.S. Secret Service's protection of the President. ...more (w/video)...

Ha! I knew I was right in being the first to voice the conviction that this couple out to get a Nobel for something.

If Rolling Stone don't like 'em, they must be doing something right!

Indeed. It’s refreshing. Maybe somebody up there will wake up. Maybe not.

I doubt we would be seeing any of this "outrage" if the president were a Republican.

I suspect the party crashers would be deemed patriots by the same people who are accusing them of being terrorist worthy of public execution.

If it had been somebody wishing to do harm, they had us by the ‘nads. In line for POTUS...

* Vice President (check, there)
* Speaker of the House (check, there)
* President Pro Tempore of the Senate (that would be Byrd, OMG, he can’t do it!)
* Secretary of State (check, there)
* Secretary of the Treasury (slay me, no way!!!)
* Secretary of Defense (Fort Hood...do we want him?!)
* Attorney General (Hell NO!!!)
* Secretary of the Interior
* Secretary of Agriculture
* Secretary of Commerce
* Secretary of Labor
* Secretary of Health and Human Services
* Secretary of Housing and Urban Development
* Secretary of Transportation
* Secretary of Energy
* Secretary of Education
* Secretary of Veterans Affairs
* Secretary of Homeland Security

They could have taken out a whole slew of those in line, not just the POTUS. I blame the Obamas. They have turned the White House into reality TV. MTV reality TV behind podium filming, MEchelle doing a reality cooking show in the WH. Oprah Xmas special (not as bad). The Obamas have embraced and cheapened the WH with all this non-sense, IMO. I blame the Obamas for luring these reality freak-show people. The Obamas make it appear acceptable and accessible. They are too immature and classless to hold the potitions they do. Shame, damn shame...

I agree- but...

we now know - they were invited by deserii ?

all manner of “guests have been getting into
the white house- in Clinton’s day- he shook you
down for money(renting the Lincoln bedroom)-I swear
The people in Washington these days are losers, and
they will destroy America.

At least in Rome it took a couple of hundred years to destroy.

Actually, I was thinking more about the media that is absolutely fixated on this issue, while they can barely be bothered to discuss the global warming fraud that is going to really destroy our country by taking our money and surrendering our sovereignty.

But, you are correct.

Better late than never. A little worrisome that they apply zero tolerance or moral relativity to the party crashers and the jihad military shooter at Fort Hood.

I don't buy the "literally crashed", someone had to waive these people on. But mission accomplished, Imus questioning the competence of the Secret Service, we're about to put the CIA on trial, the military of this country has had their reputation and professionalism shattered.

Yep, 0bama and the left may very well get what they've wished for years now. God save us.
