Biden administration's "climate envoy," John Kerry says "it's time we acknowledged that the world is facing a climate emergency. In less than 50 years the CO2 parts per million is projected to reach 500. That means for every million molecules of air 500 of them are CO2. This will be the highest concentration since humans evolved. We must make sacrifices to avert this disaster."
One of the sacrifices Kerry suggests "is for Africans to skip past the mistakes the West has made by using fossil fuels to produce energy. The Industrial Revolution took place during the so-called 'little ice age' of the 18th and 19th centuries. At that time world leaders weren't concerned about the possible warming effects that burning coal or gasoline might have on the climate. It is essential that undeveloped areas use environmentally friendly sources like wind and solar."
However, wind and solar energy are much less reliable than coal, gasoline, or natural gas. The wind doesn't always blow. Sunlight is often blocked by clouds. On top of this, they are three times as expensive per kilowatt hour. So, not only will energy be intermittent, it may be unaffordable for many. Admitting this phenomenon, Kerry recommended that "the United States should bear the cost of electrifying Africa. We are a $23 trillion economy. Most Americans have more money than they need. They waste a lot of their money on junk. They own two cars when they could get by with one or none and use public transit. They overeat and damage their health. They can easily afford to pay the higher taxes required to fund Africa's clean energy economy."
German scientist Dr. Michael Schnell said "there is no emergency. The heat retention of atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2) causes a maximum temperature increase of 0.24°C when the concentration doubles from our current 400 ppm to 800 ppm. At the current rate of increase of 2 parts per million (ppm) it will take 200 years for the ppm to reach 800 and produce a quarter of 1°C increase in temperature. There is no good reason to endure the suffering that the climate alarmists want to inflict on humanity."
Nothing that I think of Kerry can be posted here. In fact, it turns my stomach just to type his name.
Lying Lurch
And....?
Boltneck should be prosecuted as a foreign agent.
( thats how they circumvented the treaty requirements )
a declared climate emergency ushers in global government.
my guess is this is how they plan to prevent trump from assuming office.

What a jackass. Instead of having an all-of-the-above energy strategy (fossil fuels and renewables each having their place where economically suitable), he says, "Hey, I don't care if you Africans continue needlessly dying by the millions each year of preventable conditions like you've been doing throughout human history!"
Somebody close to him who actually cares needs to pimp slap him into reality.
That’s odd. The climate just declared a useless POS kerry emergency. Which is actually a real thing.
When will someone clean up that stinking pile of rat excrement?
These the same people who predicted no snow in the West after 2020? Maybe the 20’ last year was a mirage?
I know this is semi-satire, so I can't verify what John Kerry did or didn't say (this is a real problem when classifying comments as "semi-satire" in these times where the line between satire and reality is so thin it becomes indistinguishable) but...
I know for a fact one of the most irritating aspects of the Climate Change scam in Africa is the requirements by developed countries that 3rd World countries have to comply with in order to get any aid.
In the linked scene from the documentary "The Great Global Warming Swindle", there is a physician in an impoverished area of Kenya who discusses how the environmental groups from Western nations lobby to only allow wind or solar in order to give money to those who need it. The physician has enough solar power to run a refrigerator or a light bulb, but not enough power to run both. So, if he has drugs in the refrigerator that need it to be viable, he can only turn on the light for short intervals.
The interview is only a two or three minutes long, but his justified anger at this attitude by privileged Westerners to forcibly impose Solar and Wind power in order to get ANY aid makes me, as a Westerner, feel shame at it.
