Rogan-Trump Interview Proves Mainstream Media is a Paper Tiger

Joe Rogan’s interview with Donald Trump has been viewed at least 42 million times on YouTube since November 1st, 2024. That number does not include people watching/listening on Spotify or X, where the interview is also available.

The most dangerous opponent of the Second Amendment, the Bill of Rights, and limited government in the United States has not been advocacy groups such as “The National Council to Control Handguns,” which, after several name changes, ended up as  “The Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence”; or the heavily funded “Everytown for Gun Safety.”

The most dangerous opponent has been the old, dominant, Progressive Media. It took this correspondent until 1994 to understand the problem was not political education. The problem was the dominant Media were ideologically opposed to an armed population. By 1970, Progressive ideology was firmly entrenched in nearly all American Media.

The political ideology of Progressivism became popular in the late 1800’s and took political power in the presidencies of Theodore Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson. Wilson was a dominant theorist and leader of the Progressive movement who became president. He used war powers to ingrain progressive ideas into the American government. One of the pillars of progressive thought is that the government should not be limited in its scope or power. For this reason, the Constitution is outdated and irrelevant. Ways must be found to “get around” the limitations of the Constitution. This is why gun control is in the Progressive DNA. How can the government do all the wonderful things progressives want it to do if they have to worry about yahoos with guns? In 1887, Woodrow Wilson wrote this:

The germinal conceptions of democracy are as free from all thought of a limitation of the public authority as are the corresponding conceptions of socialism;

The Old Media is dying. To survive as a political power, it needs to be propped up by the state. If Trump wins the election, its power is broken.

The Propaganda Media could only survive on monopolies and censorship. The power brokers would have continued that if not for a few brave individuals who took to the airwaves and internet to oppose them.

The world owes an immeasurable debt to Elon Musk and Donald Trump.

I’m 56, not a spring chicken.

And I’ve not watched mainstream media news in at least 15 years or so.

So imagine the younger crowd.

It got me too upset watching msm news so I gave it up.

It helped my nerves and stomach :)

It isn’t just the interview. This entire election cycle along with the previous will be their undoing.

“old, dominant, Progressive Media”

Cut the meely mouthed BS.

The are State Run Media.

There are the Propagana arm of the State.

The State seeks to render the will of the people mute and eviserate the US Constitution such that they will be a permanent crushing oppressor enslaving all of us.

When the traditional media learned it was in the process of being replaced by the internet, it ran into the arms of the Deep State and crony capitalists.

If Trump is elected, the old media will have dug its own grave and the so-called journalists and talking heads that abetted the old media's lies will be impossibly tainted.

And the real journalists who went independent (like Catherine Herridge) will be ascendant.

The undermining destruction to this country by the CIA’s propaganda project, Operation Mockingbird, is incalculable. Think of it, the operation has been non-stop since the Cold War and was first uncovered in the Frank Church Senate Committee in 1975. It never stopped because the CIA knows mind control is the key to controlling the public. Now, the more fundamental question is why the bastards are so hell bent on destroying America? The answer means they are Communist traitors and the entire organization needs to be eliminated and its inhabitants prosecuted for treason.

While Limbaugh had an audience, I think the credit ascribed to him belongs to Reagan and others.

Reagan landed the blow creating the first crack in the back of the media. To wit: he won every 49 states in 1984 without talk radio, the internet, and 3 networks and PBS against him.

Limbaugh really came on the scene in 1989. And maybe he helped get GHWB elected, though that was a lock. The first real test of Limbaugh was 1992, and he did squat against Clinton. In fact, while Druge isn’t a force anymore, HE deserves the credit for putting the Internet on the map as a MSM wrecking ball. And new media credit for getting Dubya a second term goes more to Buckhead than Limbaugh.

Even up to the end, he was more like Tony Romo than Troy Aikman. Limbaugh’s final test was in 2015-2016, and while many people can be forgiven for initially scoffing at Trump, he was in that camp. Ironically, one of the WORST guys in that business, Sean Hannity, was all-in from the get go.

So yeah, Limbaugh has a place in the history of the rebels. He’s more popular than me and died rich. But Rush is a band, not a guy.
