Russia Announces Changes to Nuclear Doctrine: Western Missile Strikes Deep Inside Russia Will Trigger an Atomic Response (VIDEO)

WORLD WAR III UPDATE: The globalist left moved the world closer to nuclear war on Wednesday.

Russian President Vladimir Putin met with officials on Wednesday and announced changes to Russia’s nuclear doctrine.

Putin lowered the threshold regarding Russian strategic forces’ use of nukes.

In a televised address to Russia’s Security Council, Putin said nuclear doctrine has been effectively revised in light of recent developments.

Putin warned NATO in his message to top Russian leaders after meetings on Wednesday.

Vladimir Putin: “The updated version of the document proposes that aggression against Russia by any non-nuclear weapons state but with the participation or support of a nuclear weapon state should be regarded as a joint attack on the Russian federation.

The conditions for Russia’s transition to the use of nuclear weapons are also clearly defined. We will consider such a possibility as soon as we receive reliable information about a massive launch of aerospace attack NEDS and their crossing of our state border. Meaning strategic or tactical aircraft, cruise missiles, drones, hypersonic missiles and other aircraft…

…We reserve the right to use nuclear weapons in the event of aggression against Russia and Belarus as a member of the union state. All of these agreements have been agreed upon with the Belarussian side and with the president of Belarus.

The Gateway Pundit reported last week that Vladimir Putin warned that the NATO approval would change the essence of the conflict. Putin also warned that Kiev would be destroyed.

Vladimir Putin: The key is that only NATO servicemen can enter flight assignments into these missile systems. Ukrainian servicemen cannot do this.

And so this is not about allowing the Ukrainian regime to strike Russia with these weapons or not. It’s about deciding whether NATO countries are directly involved in the military conflict or not.

If this decision is made it will mean nothing other than the direct participation of NATO countries, the United States, European countries, in the war in Ukraine. This is their direct participation and this already significantly changes the very essence and the very nature of the conflict…

This would mean that NATO countries, the United States are at war with Russia.

BobL: "Russia has MANY ways to use nukes without having to resort to 20 Megaton airbursts, as you guys are implying.
But yes, if the Neocons insist on taking their nuclear war to the point of using the city-busters, they’re more than capable of doing just that too."

So, it sounds to me like you are speaking for Russia's government, hoping to make a case for why it's 100% acceptable that Russia will just throw some "small" nukes at Ukraine, and anyone else Russians fear, and that will be just A-OK, no sweat, no problems, the whole world will just roll over for Russian belly rubs, no harm, no foul, and Russia walks away the winner, unscratched itself.

Yeah... I don't think it's that easy.
I think the distance from this (15 kilotons) to this (15 megatons) is much shorter than you might hope:

If Russians let their nuclear "genies" out of the now nearly 80 year old "bottles", it will not end well for Russia, be certain of that.

Isn’t that the point? If they feels there is an existential threat, they will use nukes. Most nuclear nations would. Pushing said nation to using their nukes is not wise. But why expect wisdom from our sodomite leaders with no skin in the game

Russians must attack. Attack. Attack. Attack. And, now that Russia has nuclear weapons, resistance means death.

You are delusional. Go fight the good fight in Donbas for your Ukrainian brothers

Me delusional?

At least I’m not being paid by Putin.

I was in West Germany facing your buddies across the border. During the time I was there, your buddies in the Baader Meinhof Gang attempted to kill the Supreme Commander of NATO. At a later time, your buddies in the Red Brigades of Italy kidnapped and killed one of my former brigade commanders, when he was deputy chief of staff for NATO Southern Command. I have known freedom fighters from Hungary who fought against your buddies in the USSR when they invaded that country, and who Romanians who lived through the uprising against Ceausescu. And, people who escaped communism from Cuba and Venezuela. Find somebody who doesn’t have first-hand knowledge of Russia’s aggression, to peddle your lies.

Violent Color Revolutions that overthrow democracies have a way of changing equations

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

That color revolution was simply the Ukrainian people’s will NOT to be ruled by a highly corrupt Kremlin Proxy president called Viktor Yanukovich.

Viktor Yanukovich is the worts kind of traitor you can find.

He demanded Russian troops to invade his own country Ukraine!
He has since then of course been sentenced for high treason by the Ukrainian Justice system. Law and Order wants him.

Viktor Yanukovich fled like a thief... and is now hiding... where.... wait for it....
Yes, in RUSSIA!

Yes, Russia wants WWIII. We agree.

Thats why “they” (Russia) are invading and illegally anexing all over the place, stealing other peoples lands and homes.

Russia has invaded Georgia, Moldova, Crimea, Donbas, and tried to take all of Ukraine including Kiev, but they miserably failed - thanks to Trump’s massive weapon shipments to Ukraine during the his presidency.

Some here on FR are Obama supporters, because Obama was only willing to send pillows and blankets to Ukraine. Trump reversed that policy, and initiated the whole idea of shipping weapons to Ukraine so they could defend itself.

A clear rule:
Those who are defending their borders are not wanting WWIII.
Those who are illegally breaking the rule of law, invading others peoples homes and lands using terror and murder and missiles and bombs for imperialistic land-grabbing purposes... they are the ones pushing for WWIII.

Trump recently proudly held the LGBT flag, he seems to care for them.
Thus, will you start posting memes with Trump and LGBT together as well?

Your memes about Zelensky are based upon comical scenes and parodies he made during the time he was an actor. It doest mean he is pro gay.

And Trump holding the LGBT flag doesn’t mean he is pro gay either.

Right?

Kremlin Proxy president called Viktor Yanukovich.

A preponderance of the population voted for him. They would’ve voted him out if he was so unpopular. He was overthrown in an illegal coup because the revolutionaries feared they couldn’t vote him out

Not wanting to unnecessarily antagonize Russia was a wise move for a Ukranian leader. We would not have been happy if a Mexican president had wanted to join the Warsaw Pact.

Viktor Yanukovich was ousted because he obeyed orders coming directly from Moscow.
He had promised the Ukrainian people to do an economic deal with the EU, everyone was onboard, and it all was ready to be signed!
Then Russia entered the picture, meddeld spectacularly in Ukraine’s internal affairs, promised Yanukovich billions... and forced Viktor Yanukovich at the very last minute to sign a deal the majority of Ukraine people had agreed on.
What a treasonous act. Viktor Yanukovich obeying foreign powers direct orders!

And to top it all, Viktor Yanukovich, then demands RUSSIAN TROOPS to invade Ukraine. I say WOW and WTF !

This level of treason is so immense that its seems like a joke.
Unfortunately its true...
Sad.

You’re stuck in 1983. Many of us served on the Soviet border for what we thought was defending the US from communism. The Soviet Union collapsed and Russia is now a vibrant market country with many Christian churches protecting children. Eastern border disputes are not our business. Conversely, America is being taken over by Commie-Pinko-Fags who are grooming our children, killing our elections and our Presidents, censoring our speech, and destroying our wealth. Wake up Dupe!

No, Einstein, I’m VERY WELL VERSED in Russia’s nuclear capabilities and your claims that they’ll throw 20 Megaton bombs at us without a second thought is BULLSHIT.

Your narrative is a LIE.

We and NATO have been the aggressors in Ukraine. This war wouldn't be taking place if not for the fact we helped fomented the Maiden revolution.

We and other NATO countries encouraged Ukraine to renege on the Minsk Accords, which if implemented, would have prevented this war.

We and Boris Johnson killed a peace deal between Ukraine and Russia in Turkey in March of 2022.

Bro, you're a liar, like your father, the devil.

You sound like a drunk Russian.

As for Russia being a market economy or a democracy, it’s economy is rated as “mostly unfree;” and, it’s score on Freedom House is 13 out of 100, making it a dictatorship.

https://freedomhouse.org/country/russia/freedom-world/2024

Regarding the Orthodox Church of Russia, when they opened the archive, we learned about the many martyrs of the Orthodox Church during the Soviet period (you know, the time Putin really likes). I was embarrassed to not have realized this.

But, today, the Orthodox Church of Russia has been bought by Putin. The Cathedral of the Armed Forces is a monstrosity. At least under the communists the Russian people knew they were in a totalitarian state. Back then, the church, though persecuted, was a refuge.

Glad2bnuts: "After Reagan, and under Bush/Clinton/Obama and now Biden, WE are being aggressive in many theaters.
WE threaten many people.
WE walk loudly and threaten with our big sticks.
Far from being a steadying influence, we have become a disrupter."

delta7 (previous thread): "NATO expansion and Western intervention has killed more in the last few decades than Russian “ expansion “.
Yugoslavia, Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, etc….millions."

Thanks for reminding me.
I had promised delta7 weeks ago to address this issue, and then forgot about it, sorry...

So, let's start here -- I did a simple table of US military operations since 1989.

US Military Operations Since 1989 -- regardless of size

Reasons for Action
Years of Presidency
GHW Bush
1989-'92
WJ Clinton
1993-2000
GW Bush
2001-'08
BH Obama
2009-'16
DJ Trump
2019-2020
JR Biden
2021-'24
Totals
1989 - 2023
Military boots-ground62110111
War on Terror031081426
Air + No Fly15112010
Drones0006017
Naval Ops1111116

Civil Unrest Evacuations49240322
Tranining & Logistical Support1134009
Exercise & Show of Force31010112
UN/ Peacekeeper Force041006
subtotals:
Humanitarian &Peacekeeping111591001459
***
Totals all Categories19262227421119

So, some points to notice first:

  1. Donald Trump had fewer by far than any others.

  2. About half these operations are military, half are humanitarian and peacekeeping.

  3. War on Terror and Civil Unrest evacuations are the largest categories, accounting for nearly half the total.

  4. If we compare Trump to previous presidents, his numbers match those of Republicans Nixon, Eisenhower, Hoover, Coolidge/Harding, Grant & Lincoln.
Indeed, arguably, the outliers among Republicans are "Big Stick" Teddy Roosevelt, "We Win" Reagan and the Bushes.

  5. Since 1900 -- even including TR, RR & Bushes -- Democrat administrations averaged double the number of foreign adventures of Republican administrations.
Of course, these are simply counting up the numbers of events, saying nothing about how large was each event -- WWII is counted as just one event.
Indeed, very few of these events can be considered major.

Death toll estimates for conflicts can vary widely, from a few thousand to over a million, depending on who is counting and which deaths they include.
To pick one example, in the Iraq War (2003-2011), estimates of civilian violent deaths range from ~100,000 to over 1 million.
How many of these were caused by US Coalition forces?
Arguably, no more than a small handful of "collateral damage" in strikes on terrorists.

As for who is the international "disruptor", sure, if you are an aggressive dictator bent on dominating your region, aggrandizing your religion or ethnicity, or adding to your own territories, then, yes, the US and NATO will indeed be seen as "disrupting" your plans and schemes.

But if you are a peaceful democratic country hoping to prosper on trade and manufacturing, then the US & NATO are here to help out.

Final point -- in every case listed, the US operated in self defense and/or at the invitation of governments or people being victimized by local bullies.
In no case did the US attempt to annex territory or even seize resources.
In the case of Iraq, for example, the US provided many $billions in civilian aid, including $2 billion to restore Iraq's oil production to its highest levels ever, now over 4 million barrels per day, up from 1 million in the early 2000s.
Today, Iraq is the world's third largest oil exporter, following only Saudi Arabia and Russia.
