This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When a vehicle is captured and then lost in service with its new owners, it is only added as a loss of the original operator to avoid double listings. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it's not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

in sping 2022 Russia withdrew from Kiev/Sumy region, in the fall they withdrew from Kharkiv region and retreated from Kherson, then played defense during the vaunted Ukraine offensive over a six month period in 2023. -

FIRST
Russia first attacked Ukraine in 2014, when they stole Ukrainian Crimea, and took nearly at the same time the Ukrainian Donbas with “Little Russian Green Men”. Russia has now even ANNEXED it! Right?
SECONDLY
On 24 February 2022, Russia launched a broader military invasion of Ukraine in a steep escalation of the Russo-Ukrainian War. The campaign had been preceded by a Russian military buildup in the near region (Belarus) since early 2021.
THIRD
Russia never “withdrew” from Kharkiv and Kherson, etc. They were KICKED OUT from there by highly effective Ukrainian counterattacks. Russia was FORCED to retreat in a display of utter chaos - humiliating Russia for decades to come.
Ukraine forcibly conquered back 54% of its territory. Wow.
FOURTH
Roughly two years have gone by in this war.
Russia has in essence lost the battle of the Black Sea.
They have still have not succeeded in getting air superiority over Ukraine... even though they try, try, try....
FIFTH
Russia has trapped itself in a uber-costly never-ending war, forcing its national budget to be at 41% for the miliary and the failed war. Russia’s taxpayers technically can’t sustain this for much longer. If they are forced to, there will be another 1991-like revolution in Russia.
People will simply tear down the caviar-eating deep-staters running the Kremlin circus.
