Nolte: Trump Tops Haley by 16 in NH, DeSantis Losing to ‘Undecided’
Breitbart ^ | 01/17/2024 | JOHN NOLTE

Posted on 01/17/2024 8:56:46 AM PST by ChicagoConservative27

The latest polling out of New Hampshire shows former President Trump up 16 points over former Gov. Nikki Haley (R-SC). The Donald is also topping the magic 50 percent mark.

“[N]ew polling data from Suffolk University, The Boston Globe, and NBC10 Boston … conducted among 500 likely New Hampshire Republican primary voters over two days” shows Trump sitting pretty at 50.4 percent support. Haley is in a distant second place with 33.8 percent.

The ultimate humiliation in this poll is that “undecided” beats Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) 5.8 percent to 5.2 percent.

Sounds like the undecideds have decided not to be undecided about DeSantis.

I have a couple of small questions for Nimrata....

- How many family members do you have in this country?

- How many relatives or ancestors do you have who were in the US military and fought in any war on the side of the United States?

think of all the stammering, back pedaling, equivocating BS she’ll spew for an answer.

Keep in mind that Biden is NOT on the Democrat primary ballot.
There are signs at the really crazy liberal yards that say:

Write in: Joe Biden

So, seeing the NH has an open primary, Haley is picking up a lot of the Dem and Independents that will not be voting for Brandon.

At this point, the ONLY people supporting Biden are the absolutely crazy Liberal Dems(Commies). No reasonable person supports Ol Joe. So, any realistic person, even if they have Trump Derangement are looking at Nicky or RFK.

Tucker’s broadcast yesterday was all about how the Dems are going to support Nicky because she is a Neocon Liberal RINO.
As is Sununu who is supporting her here. That IF they can get one of these charges to stick on Trump then Nicky will be POTUS, Sununu will be her VP and the Dems will have a Liberal RINO WEF stooge(just like Biden). The bonus is Biden looses and it takes care of the Kamala problem too.

This is one of the reasons I *HATE* politics.

All this hysteria and hyperventilating and speculation over hypotheticals.

I will vote in the primary and the election and decide then when we KNOW who’s on the ticket.

Anything else is just idle speculation that does nothing but whip up hysteria.

Man, I cannot stand that little smarmy Sununu jerk.

Can't wait to see him shut up by the NH voters.

One of the things I dislike about NH election process is being able to switch party affiliation so easily so as to influence elections. The other is that massholes can come into the state and register on the day of the election and vote to swing OUR state how they want.

Register ahead of time. Same day registration is ridiculous. There’s no reason for anyone to wait until the last minute to decide they are going to vote on election day and need to register and vote.

Massachusetts residents can register to vote in New Hampshire?

MA Democrats can drive to NH on election day, claim they are New Hampshire residents, register as Republicans and no proof of residency is required.

Easy Peasy.

Democrats are born liars—so this is right in their comfort zone.

This is the way the law is stated:

“An unaffiliated voter may choose one party’s ballot, which makes them a registered member of that party. However, temporary affiliation is possible, as voters can fill out a card at the polling place to return to undeclared status after the vote is cast. For this reason, New Hampshire allows same day registration for unaffiliated voters”

“The New Hampshire primary is a semi-open primary: unaffiliated voters (those registered without party affiliation) may vote in either party’s primary, but voters registered with one party cannot “cross vote” to vote in another party’s primary”

So, Independents can vote in EITHER Dem or Rep primary. However, if you are a registered Dem I do not believe you can change you party affiliation on that day and vote in the Republican Primary.

They used to be able to if they claimed they planned on moving to NH in the next few months.

I heard they changed that but have not verified which one is right.

Are you sure of that?
This has been an urban legend similar to the “bus loads” brought in from MA(which is also BS). The only bussing was at UNH Durham, where they offered a free bus ride from the college campus to the polling place in downtown Durham.

I show an ID to be given a ballot in the town I live in.
If you are a new resident you need to show a bill from Eversource or some other utility that shows that you actually live in NH. Again, the only place this may happen in any quantity is in Durham(UNH) area where there are 27M students.

My understanding is that there are precincts in Nashua or Manchester where they do not follow the rules.

Democratic organizers are smart enough to do their homework and identify those locations.

The UniParty will go all out to ensure Haley gets a close second if not an outright win in NH.

Here's what surprises me. The insiders decided that Haley is the designated "Trump-killer" right now and the media has pushed that narrative that she's within striking distance. It's surprising how the media can create a sort-of-viable candidate out of thin air by saying the have support (come on, who is excited about Nikki Haley?) yet when they tried it with DeSantis it didn't work.

Here's the difference I think: Nobody knows Nikki Haley, she's a political nobody compared to a guy like DeSantis. People know DeSantis, they don't know Haley. A blank slate, it seems, is easier to sell.

Fortunately, the city of Manchester elected a new Republican conservative Mayor.
He attends the same Catholic Church I do.

“Jay Ruais was sworn in as the 49th Mayor of Manchester on January 2, 2024. A graduate of Gettysburg College (BA in Political Science) and American University (Master of Public Administration). Jay lives in Ward 7 with his wife, Veronica, and is a Member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 5163 in Manchester.”

Trump up 16 points over former Gov. Nikki Haley (R-SC). The Donald is also topping the magic 50 percent mark.

If that is the outcome, then Haley and DeSantis need to get on the Trump train, eagerly.

That is good news—but he better have operatives watching the Democratic controlled precincts in Manchester like hawks.

I can guarantee the Democrats will try to cheat there—as much as they can get away with....
